Oh boy, there’s that offense. If they can keep this up they will be a tough out in the playoffs.

Good game. I'm glad Staley pulled Herbert and some other starters. The man is learning!

Well that was fun.
That was the team I expected to see from the start of the season. Ek and MW were elite today. Keenan was solid as always. Herbert threw some lasers. Defense was solid without Derwin and minimal impact from Bosa. We’ve now played great defense 4 weeks in a row. It’s not a fluke. ST’s has been solid all season, defense came around 4 weeks ago and today the offense really showed up and dominated a pretty good Rams d.
Justin Herbert sat out the last 10 minutes which was smart by Staley.
Let’s keep it going

Ekeler really impressed. Wow. He was an unexpected pickup like (TE) Antonio Gates.
Offense is clicking at the right time.

An overlooked factor from Sunday: improved TE blocking that coincides with Donald Parham’s return from multiple injuries. ___ The importance of putting this kind of rushing performance on tape is hard to overstate as the Chargers enter the postseason. Opposing defenses are still going to play a ton of shell coverage to try and take the deep part of the field away from Justin Herbert. That is never going to change as long as he is playing quarterback in the NFL. But this type of dominant rushing game can plant a seed of doubt in defenders’ minds. The Chargers were building to a showing like this. They were 10th in EPA per designed rush over the previous three games. All season long, I thought the offensive line was run blocking better than the production was showing. The Chargers entered Sunday 31st in rushing yards and 31st in yards per carry. The real issue was the blocking on the edge from tight ends and receivers. That changed in this game, and it helped the Chargers create the explosives in the running game they had been lacking, like on Austin Ekeler’s 72-yard touchdown. A lot of that is just getting key pieces back healthy, like tight end Donald Parham Jr. and receiver Keenan Allen. “Everyone’s aware of where we were ranked and stuff like that,” Staley said of the run game. “These guys know, and they knew that we’ve been working our way to a performance like that. I don’t think that anyone believed that we were far away from accomplishing a performance like that, but we just needed to stay together and find that rhythm and that right set of runs and get our guys doing the right jobs at the high level.” Added Staley: “I thought our tight ends had probably their best game blocking. And I think our receivers probably had their best game blocking.” … Parham caught a red zone touchdown in the fourth quarter. It was his first touchdown since Nov. 7, 2021. Parham went through a brutal stretch to get back to this point. He was carted off the field in Week 15 of last season after a scary concussion in a Thursday night game against the Chiefs. He missed the rest of the season before returning for training camp. Less than two weeks into camp, Parham suffered a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the first four games of the season. He came back in Week 5. In his second game back, Parham suffered another concussion. He returned to practice two weeks later, only to aggravate his hamstring injury. Parham was placed on IR and missed another six games. He has five catches for 46 yards and that touchdown since returning in Week 14. “A tremendous story of perseverance, of will inside a player,” Staley said. “Football has tested his patience, and to see him go out like that and play a really complete game — I thought he blocked extremely well yesterday and was a factor in the passing game — to score a touchdown, a big red area touchdown for us, just a big moment for him.” theathletic.com/4053050/2023/01/02/chargers-rams-final-thoughts/?source=user_shared_article
