Jaxson Smith was gone so we got Quentin... Makes sense. Hopefully TE in the 2nd.

af called it long time ago, WR it is..... I do not like the pick. At least it wasn't a reach pick. Its another weapon for Herbert, this is a good pick IMHO.

I don't have anything against the player, it is the strategy I did not like. TT is being true to the long view, prepares for 2024 season and the departure of KA.

That would have played into the long view as well. IMHO the only immediate impact position would have been TE, RB and maybe CB or defensive line. A good TE would have started over Everett... Almost any other position would have been #2 or lower. I'm ok with the long view @ WR, we're seriously going to need him next season.

Yep.....and you can expect an Edge player tonight, especially if one is remotely close to BPA when the Chargers pick. 2024 will see the departure of both KA and Mack....TT preparing for that now.

I think they know more about Parham's health than we do, and feel he is on the cusp of a breakout year. RB went out the window early in this draft, CB was taken off the board as well, so it was WR or Edge or TE.

I do not like the 'positional rankings' concept.....give me a future HOF player, you can call him the 5th best xx on draft day all you want. If Washington, TE is there grab him, Hall, Edge might be ok, but I like Avila or Tippman, both are primarily OC's. Don't Clapp at me either......

All the TE and WR (minus one) were available to choose from. From a value perspective, the boltz wisely took WR over TE. Next year KA's role can go to Palmer and MW go to Quentin. There is no way they keep both KA & MW.

Same story for Bosa and Mack, with Mack the likely departure. I would have gone Edge first, then WR, but pretty similar approach.
