Defenses will be focused on AB. Of course they are going to be focused on AB.
But now TW is a Number 2. Our depth at WR was major headaches for secondary's. TW could be 3rd or fourth or Gordon/Ekeler 5th pickings on a defense priority list.
Not anymore.
Its going to go a lot easier if we just TRY to keep up with me. Its not going to happen, but trying is cute. Disclaimer: Goalies are lost causes.
Not paying too much for TW was a certainty...... So the Bolts lose TW, get HH back @ TE, and are asking TB to step into the TW role. I just do not see the catastrophe in this. TT has solid depth in the WR group, and that created somewhat of a logjam. TW wanting too much money was a godsend.......

Now we'll find out if TW is a true #2, be it PR or Carr. Carr ain't PR, but he's a good enough QB for TW to get big yardage numbers with AB on the other side. If his production isn't near the top of the league for #2 WR's (he is being paid a top-of-the-league #2 WR salary in Oakland), then he'll be hitting the free agent market again in March 2020. I would forecast that he will fall off his numbers. Carr ain't Rivers, and Oakland is not LA. Systems. He was our guy, brought through our system, you change that, it tends to change you. Not everyone. But I believe TW is a candidate for the ones it does affect. They don't have our depth where he could sneak through defenses. So TW's numbers will fall because of ? The new system will be too much for him to learn to be effective? or...Carr is not that good....or perhaps your best excuse, TW won't be surrounded by as much talent, so he will be much more of a priority for defences. (which is a sly way of saying when the better defenders cover TW, he will not produce) TW is a complimentary WR, that is his ceiling, which is not a bad thing unless you expect him to become a true #1.

First I get the 'I am full of myself', now this 'angry' stuff. Where do you people come up with this stuff? I said it before the entire FA period started. If TW wanted statistical success, he should resign with the Bolts. If he wanted financial reward, he should take the best deal he could get, while laughing all the way to the bank. I would have advised TW to take the money and run. Raiders were stupid, TT wasn't.....
