I'll pencil you in for Downtown Virgil Green and Sean "Long Bomb" Culkin. Nah, he wants Gates back. No question that I like Gates. I was thinking of a young WR. Odds are that KA, MW, TB are three of 4-5 WRs on the final 53. There's room for a new face or two. I expect there will be strong training camp competition among Cantrell, Davis, Liggins, Moore, Patton, Thompson, Trevillion, Scott. I believe one or more will have an impressive TC, preseason. Scott seems likely but the others ain't chopped liver either. Should be fun.

That list of WR's competing to essentially replace TW is the best example of why TT had few qualms about letting TW walk.

The Oakland contract for TW came long after TT had seen the ask from TW's agent. It was an easy pass with the talent TT had waiting to take TW's place. This is all old news, as many on here had recognized the TW demands would be unacceptable to TT. It was discussed over and over.....with the discussion now about how do the Bolts adjust to the loss of TW. TW's production, roughly 550 yards and 5 TD's, should not be tough to replicate with some other WR from the roster. TW was a complimentary player......

16.3 YPC CAREER. No one on the bottom of the chart is coming up to do 16.3 CAREER. Trust me. Although Cantrell may be good for 6.3 of it, if he's not hurt all year again.
I laugh.

TWill and his lazy, rounded route running, interception causing ass won't be missed. He and Carr are the perfect combo... For the rest of the league.

HH will probably match the production from last year of a combined Gates/TW all by himself......

Headtrip is not slighting me. Williams ended up at the hated raiders. He should be destroyed. I hope Williams has 0 catches for 0 yards on the year. All of my discussion is about replacing his Charger value.

Watching these young WR's fight it out for a spot on the roster will no doubt be the most fun competition to watch this year. I hope there will also be some good competition for the OL this year too. It looks like the job of Punter is up in the air too. I can't wait for it all to begin.

Yes.....It may be like last year when the entire forum said Scott over Davis, and I was the only one that said I like Davis more. The team naturally went with Davis. We'll have to see how it all plays out this year, but if you want YPC, Davis has the edge.

I think it was obvious prior to his injury that Scot was ahead of Davis. Heck, even AL said he had already penciled in Scot. Scot runs great routs, makes quick cuts and gets open. Davis should beat out Scot this year because he has a years experience now.

You are locking in Scott right now ?
