Nope...... Gordon recognized he is losing money, and more important, he is losing the opportunity to show the rest of the GM's he deserves that big money. Gordon leaves the Bolts, unless they tag him. Not a chance TT pays what Gordon asks....... your deflecting. The issue was the bolts reducing his fine. They do not need the money. What they need is a player fully committed. cutting it in half cost them nothing. It was the right move. Deflecting? My post was merely giving my impression on what was actually driving Gordon's decision to return. Club does not 'need' the money, yes..... I believe Gordon is fully committed to leaving via FA, so it is in his best interests to have good showing in this season. Only fining Gordon half cost the Bolts half, yes? Right or wrong, it is their decision.

I'm in the camp that when you can be gracious, you should as long as doing so doesn't hurt others in the long run. How people are going to respond you have no control over, You do your own actions. Take high road. had Gordon waited until week 8. then keep it the same imo.

Since its almost guarantee Melvin Gordon will not be a Charger next season, lets run him like a dog for 13 games (25+ carries each game). Get your money's worth and sneakily plenty of wins I do not see it guaranteed. Its obvious that AL really likes MGIII. The team has handed out an olive branch. MGIII will test the market next year.. If he leaves for a better offer, a fairly high compensatory draft pick will be awarded to the bolts. If he stays, the bolts have a solid running game for the remainder of Rivers career. It's a win-win move for all sides.

Get your money's worth and sneakily plenty of wins After watching yesterdays interview, I think he loves his teammates and would genuinely like to remain a Charger. So I don't think it's guaranteed that he won't be back. We'll see .

At the end of the day I'm sure he'll follow the dollars, but there's no apparent animosity either way that will affect the process.

MG III handled coming back about as well as anyone. Licked his wounds for not getting anywhere, never bashed the .org and accepted the consequences like a boss.

Oh, have you been offended pucky ? Its hard, but you don't get what you want. In a show of good faith by both parties the player came back early and the team cut his fines in half. Facts. Somehow you are just going to have to get over them doing it. hmmm.. I'm concerned. You replied to this post but not the one from your fellow bags crew that said none of your posts were substantive. looks like rebellion to me. Mere words. I have a much higher duty than words. Sticks and pucks may break his bones but words have never hurt him.

Gordon now says he would not hold out if he had to do it all over again. Hurt his legacy...... What legacy? Had one good season, the rest were nothing special.

Turn the page already. We need a 1st down back. You can have everyone from Carlos Hyde to Ricky Rookie. Who you got ?
