I'm going to have to think about this one. The team has moved. The only thing constant is change. Sooner or later, we're going to have to get used to the idea that the team is in LA now.
I say this as a guy who's dad helped design and build the stadium, and who spent his life since 1963 cheering for the Bolts. Do I like that they're in LA now? No. Does that change the fact that they are? Again, no.
Changing the name of the forum isn't going to change that, either. It may make it more comfortable for some, but it doesn't change reality.
For now, I'll think about it.

Come on chopper. It's 2 votes to zero. Should be enough to make the change and us San Diego Chargers fans happy. Chopper is here to help with forum software, and to assist me as an admin. Ultimately, it'll be my decision to make. I'll ponder it awhile. But to be honest, it's going to take more than "I hate LA" for me to change the name. The team is in LA. That's reality. The forum's name reflects that. It's not meant to be a diss to anyone in SD, or stir painful memories. It's just a reflection of the current NFL landscape.

Plus, changing the URL probably isn't worth the discussion. For me it's the neutral purgatory I've been in since the move. My personal denial is that they are just the Chargers. Denial? Sure. It's my adaptation.

Why not ask for ideas on a name, if something resonates make the change, if not leave it be.... or......keep the lid on that can, and just leave things as they are.  |

It would probably have to be spelled “Oh See” Chargers. I tried writing it the other way, and the word censor went berserk. Your guess is as good as mine, as to why that would happen...

OK, I figured something out, and it’s been implented on profile theme - Option 1. For Option 1, The Navatigation Bar is now stickied at the very top of the page, so it will remain there as you scroll down the page. On that Navigation Bar there are one touch buttons to get to the main screen (home) and to the GD Board (Gen Disc). It was a lot of work, so I can’t do it in the other profile themes at this time. Another reason for everyone to switch to Option 1 !
Or, if you prefer, you may choose the option of making Option 1 look more like ProlassicV5.
Thank you. That is all. If you now switch over to profile theme “Option 2”, you will get that color scheme you prefer, along with all the other goodies. Also, for anyone who actually preferred the color scheme in the “default” profile theme, if you switch over to “Option 3” you’ll have that same color scheme, but with the smilies, stickied Navigation Bar, etc.

How do you post pictures? When you quote someone the tool bar will pop up. there is a icon for inserting pictures. Like the last site, you'll need a URL link.
