It would be better still if he knew how to copy and paste. QFT...one thing I never was able to master was the copy and paste thing, and believe me it’s not from a lack of trying. The silver lining to that is the FBI will have to rule me out as a suspect, as the individual who allegedly copied and pasted a “shameful” avatar on your profile yesterday...

OK, I figured something out, and it’s been implemented on profile theme - Option 1. For Option 1, The Navigation Bar is now stickied at the very top of the page, so it will remain there as you scroll down the page. On that Navigation Bar there are one touch buttons to get to the main screen (home) and to the GD Board (Gen Disc). Thank you- I like having the "Gen Disc" link easily accessible to jump back to that page after finishing a thread! I'm still getting used to the navigation here compared to what I've been familiar with for ten plus years previously- not a complaint, just a learning curve thing. I love the Like button, and I'd vote for a "dislike" button of some kind as others have suggested, to be able to quickly disagree with or disapprove of someone's post (such as "let's draft a QB in round One"). Thanks again and keep up the good work improving our new home!

It won’t be long until the consensus will be that we have upgraded our community, in comparison to what the CMB had to offer... False. It has already occurred. This place is better. Needs a name though. A proper name.

IXNAY!!You are hereby instructed to make all the improvements you've implemented, and all those that you will be adding, onto the preferred format of ProlassicV5.
Or, if you prefer, you may choose the option of making Option 1 look more like ProlassicV5.
Thank you. That is all. What you may not realize is how difficult, time consuming it and risky it is to make these changes. We’re not talking about dragging some icons around on a screen, we talking about programming being done via CSS commands. The change I implemented required 72 lines of commands. Here is an example of what 1 line looks like: <a id="navigation-skip" href="#content" accesskey="s" tcom="aria-hidden" title="Skip Navigation">Skip Navigation</a> <a href="#" accesskey="T” title="Open Menu" onclick="proboards.hotkeys.actiNow imagine having 72 of those, and all it takes is 1 little error somewhere in there (which you will never be able to find), to cause functional issues with the message board. That can can only be done per profile theme, so hopefully now you can understand why I am not going to do that for the multiple existing themes. My plan is to get everything worked out on Option 1 (which is probably going to take a few weeks), and then make some copies of that template, and change the color schemes on the copies (which also is a very time consuming process btw) to give the users a couple different options for colors. Making modifications on a theme that already exists requires edits to be made to each individual theme, which is why I am only working with one. In the meantime, everyone has the option to either take advantage of the latest and greatest on theme Option 1, or to chose a different theme option and just deal with the arduous tasks such as scrolling to top of the the page to find a button (like the Neanderthal’s did back in the day). Damn. So that's what "learn to code" is all about. 8-|

Dear Mojo !!!!! We're football fans not computer scientists !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I appreciate the effort Chopper. But now, when you get to the bottom of the page you can see the new Navigation Bar on top but the page numbers and previous page buttons are obscure. So, you still have to scroll to the top to go back and forth on the same thread. Maybe a Top of Page button at the bottom of the page (like TPB) will only take 71 lines of code.

That was a temporary thing, while I was playing around with some settings. Its back to normal now.

We should have a name the forum thread. I suppose Roo's place is out?
I'm having trouble with the 'quote" - I click on quote and all I see is the quote, no place to respond - what am I missing?

Hay, How are coming along with the negative rep button? I have a few posts lined up for bombing. Let’s get this done. Chop chop! Nothing currently available. I put in a request with Proboards to have the feature added, it looks like others forums have requested it too, so who knows just maybe it won’t get ignored...

There are about 20 smilies Available in the quick reply window now. Click on the “view all smilies” to choose then the way you are used to. Shouldn’t matter which profile theme option you are using...
