Hey, you know what Joe. You can go back and see all of my posts about Scott. Don't really feel the attitude. I felt he wasn't ready for PrimeTime. Guess what ? They cut him. Again, called it long ago. Don't shoot the messenger. I didn't cut him, and have nothing against him. I actually want him on the PS. If we get injured, he learned our system really well this summer. As far as knowing Inman was coming home, no. What I DID KNOW AND POSTED was that Ty Williams had an element that we did not replace. Damn sure wasn't going to be Scott. Inman signed. Scott cut. Scoreboard. Back when we sucked, I couldn't tell you who they would keep. Now that we are good, I am pretty fair at player evaluation. I can see what the team wants to do player talent wise too. I just connect the dots. He was the 4th best WR on the roster over the past few months, and it wasn't even close for the all-time leading receiver Big School Brian. He'll be playing in the NFL in 2019, be it with the Chargers or another franchise. For two years I have liked Davis better than Scott. JUST MY OPINION: Scott seems like a possession guy. Davis can get long down field. Rivers loves TALL. There seems like more of a long bomb talent to Davis versus Scott. Davis can high point better too. While it doesn't appear to be much separating the two, I think our QB and our system favors Davis. That's just how I have seen it.

It is not like either of them would be seeing much time in games.......

I told you they would cut him. I also told you what no one else knew.: Whiz hated Jones. Its easy if you pay attention. To me. The Goalie knows to listen now. Hate is a strong word and I would hope the Chargers are evaluating objectively. This year was Jones best camp performance and he would still be #3 on the Chargers. It is best for Jones and the Chargers to part ways. It frees him up to try and be a #2 on another team and gives time for Stick to grow.

I have not seen anything, but was curious, did any team pick up or sign Cardale Jones?

I have not seen anything, but was curious, did any team pick up or sign Cardale Jones? I’m not sure if he’s still eligible for practice squad. I expect that he’ll probably be signed after Week 1.

I am guessing there is some financial reason behind the waiting until week 1 has come and gone ? Even though he may not be eligible for practice squad, he is definitely not vested yet so his salary wouldn't be guaranteed if he's on a roster in Week 1. More likely teams are waiting for a QB injury rather than cut QB's who have been on the roster the past five months.

He'll get picked up by somebody with his game tape this summer. Even if he doesn't, he'll probably get a one year life-line from the XFL next spring given with the one $1 million QB slot open for every team. Oliver Luck (Andrew's father) is the league's commissioner.
