Their offensive line dominated our d-line in the running game. I thought Kyzir played well. It seemed that Thomas Davis was a step slow all day long and depended on experience to get there albeit late. The left Trent Scott on an island even after he got whooped. That on the coaches. I'm hoping yesterday was rust from not getting reps this preseason. The Colts were the better prepped team. True, but that Colts offensive line is going to dominate a lot of defensive fronts throughout the league in 2020. The Colts have talent on both sides of the ball and are well coached. I see them putting up 10 wins this season. I am hoping for an improved showing by both sides of the line next week in Detroit before they take on the Texans on the 22nd. With Brisket in the smoker.....................Houston and Tenn make for a tough division.
They have a very good oline. That is no excuse for Marlon Mack to have his best career day ever. I demand improvement. Anthony Lynn demands improvement.

Anyone hear about any injuries from this game? Did they manage to come out unscathed?

Question: was the Enron no td call good? Live it looked like he caught it and then the ball touched the ground when he went down. Never thought he lost possession. They don’t show replays in stadium It would have been a TD if they had called it that way initially. Enron only got one foot down before going to the ground, and IMO it was too close with the ball moving to overturn. How was the atmosphere at the game yesterday? I heard that it was very good. Game atmosphere was pretty good. We weren’t overrun with Colts fans. But they were very vocal and on their feet in the second half and their team fed off it. Charger players had to encourage the fans to make some noise when we were on defense but most seemed too upset that the game was coming down to the wire!!! I hate that they don’t show replays of reviewed calls in the stadium.

The way they explained it , 1 foot down then he went to the ground , when the elbow hit the ground the ball popped out and moved from his chest to his lap , by the time he regained full control he had slid out of the end zone. Called incomplete so that call stood. I agree if it was called a touchdown it might not have been overturned

You can't play Hoola Hoop with the football and think that is a possession under the rules.

Tough division, but I’m not alone.

Careful ctommes doesn't like negativity. I agree with all your points... We need to play better than this at home if we expect to improve from last seasons playoff dismissal. This team needs to dominate and play with some edge... I saw that from Keenan Allen and I hope it becomes contagious. I certainly don't see it from Bosa, him and Ingram both seemed pretty tame out there (from what I saw). Bosa had an amazing series just preceding the King muffed pint. He made all three tackles on that series, including a sack, a tackle on Mack and then chased Ty Hilton down the field on the WR screen to keep them from picking up the first. He was fired up that series. I don’t know if he was pissed at the Colts OL or frustrated but he showed dominance. Then King muffed the punt and we lost momentum Daniel Jeremiah thought that he had a very good day overall.

I'd love to see like 3 sacks from him in Detroit. Make Stafford wonder where the hell he's coming from next. Joey be faster on turfy.

I have another thing that irritated me yesterday. Goal line defense. Is there some reason we average about 140 pounds per player on the goal line defense ?
I would literally shove Lamp and Tevi on that D line if I needed the beef, and we did.

1,000-yard rushers under Anthony Lynn (as head coach or position coach):
Melvin Gordon (2017) LeSean McCoy (2016) Shonn Greene (2011, 2012) Thomas Jones (2009) Jamal Lewis (2007, 2008) Julius Jones (2006) Fred Taylor (2003, 2004)

Kerryon Johnson and CJ Anderson run for them.
They are watching Marlon Mack film as we speak.

I wasn't at the game, but on television they did show some of the Charger fans look back at the crowd behind them to let them know they should be making noise with the Colts on offense.
Seems like our fan base needs to be instructed a bit, but we have knowledgeable ones among us.
