Actually, I re-read the tweet, I don't think its a tweet to say that they have made a claim for sure. It says: "The Chargers putting in a waiver claim for Josh Gordon makes sense". I took as a fact rather than speculation. Nevermind Moving on kids... moving on... reading is fundamental

I see what I want, not what is reality. Typical fan I guess

Seahawks claim Gordon (likely that they were the only team to put in a claim). Chargers definitely didn’t put in a claim.

Seahawks claim Gordon. Chargers didn’t put in a claim. Sigh. That’s PR’s type of WR.

If I'm understanding the waiver priority list correctly this means MAYBE three teams did NOT try to claim Gordon??? Talent-wise, he's one of the best WRs playing today. But only when his head is in the game, which apparently is the current issue. Still, I would've liked to see him alongside PR, KA, HH, etc. At this point, what could it have hurt???

At most four teams put in a claim, and almost certainly the Seahawks were the only ones to take a chance on the ultra-talented but can’t be trusted Gordon. 27 teams passed on him before the Seahawks. I wouldn’t have minded a flyer on him, but it would have been like a sugar high: only a matter of time before he messes up again.

I'd take a Benadryl high at this point.

I am hearing he is not running as fast as he used to, something about a knee injury ? When he came into the league he was a complete freak. Not only destroyed the league, he did it with Cleveland QB's, that alone is history making. But his troubles are too much. I heard in Cleveland there was a Pro coach, good football mind, and his assignment was to pick Gordon up everyday so he wouldn't be late to practices. If Belichick couldn't fix him, I don't know about Carroll. At least he will get the best two and opposite ends to try. Ultra Iron, and now the emotional player coach. Wish him luck.

Those are good points, Freak. He absolutely was a phenom with Cleveland which is mind boggling. And yet going to the premier organization in NE didn't translate to a better player or performance. It is truly a shame for him to have wasted his talent to date, and while I thought it would be worth a flier, I guess most aren't expecting him to improve. It may be injuries, but I'm inclined to believe it's all mental with him. Injuries can be fixed. Stupid can't.

He’s not stupid. He’s a drug addict. Big difference.
Would have been worth a $500k flier. Would have upgraded the talent at WR
