There's always a chance. Hou is a strong run O, we are are weak run D. Total O, LAC is the better team. If we actually convert all those yards into a higher % of points, we win. Score early, take the lead & make them throw, we got this. Houston has Hopkins, Fuller and Stills. We are decimated in the secondary. If I'm Houston I'm lighting it up.

We need a win in this one and we need it badly. Lucky win vs Colts and painful lose at Lions it is not really a dominant start to SB season. If we lose here then I believe we will be nothing more than 8-8 this year. Long season. 3 games in would not be enough for me to say that. The bolts have had 2-3 starts, 1-4 starts and made the PO's. Of course, hope dies last sir! But I do not really see which def formation could reach next level. DL play is so poor, LB same old tackling issues, S and CB decimated, Almost everyone thought here that it will be def to carry off this year, well it is not and with injuries pilling up I really can't see our defense to improve. On the other hand I am very positive on OL performance so far they exceeded any expectations that I had. P.s. www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/ol/2019

If they win Sunday, there is hope that despite the injuries they can achieve.

Posted Tue, Sep 17, 2019 3:58 PM
The Los Angeles Chargers signed TE Lance Kendricks and re-signed DE Chris Peace, the organization announced on Tuesday. In corresponding moves, S Adrian Phillips was placed on injured reserve and WR Andre Patton was waived. S Adarius Pickett was also signed to the practice squad.
Kendricks comes to the Chargers after spending the first part of the 2019 season with the New England Patriots. The 6-3 tight end has appeared in 125 career games, catching 241 passes for 2,505 yards and 19 touchdowns. The Wisconsin product posted a career-high 50 catches and 499 yards in 2016 while with the Rams. He caught 19 passes for 170 yards and a touchdown last season with Green Bay.

Houston's passing O are bottom feeders as a team thus far. It would be a shame to let them get hot now.
Our pass D stat line is surprisingly good, so far. Heyward & King are doing real well, Jenkins seems improved. Facyson, not so much. Adderley may help. I think I'd play converted S Tranquill in some Phillips responsibilities.

You know how much Bosa & Ingram want him with the ball in his hands.

Houston's secondary isn't that great either. It'll flip back to an offensive shootout this week. It'll be interesting to see how Houston's OL holds up. Watson takes a lot of unnecessary hits himself.

game #3 where our LB's will start to figure it out. Look for them to play faster as they think less and react more.
Watson to Hopkins could be trouble.
