We appear to be 3rd and sinking. We keep finding ways to lose. Missed plays, penalties, fumbles, ints, etc, etc. Not a good football team. I used to have confidence in Lynn, Whis & Bradley. Apparently that was unjustified. Give it time. Lots of season left. For me, I projected "play .500 ball" until the injured returned.
Sunday Night---Beat Pitt to get to .500.
Yeah sure. I predicted .500 ball for the season. Having a hard time seeing how we get there. This I can promise you: we will not win another game-not one-if we play like we did yesterday

Be pro's. Be embarrassed. Play pissed off on Sunday Night Special at Home. Against a third string QB, softened up by Baltimore, long road trip for them.
Chargers 28 Bad guys in Black whatever 51 minus 28 is.

I like your spirit. Thank you, sir. What else are we to do but fight for our season. I am either a die hard fan or I have paid for a season of NFL Sunday Ticket.
It could also be both I suppose.

The Bolts had talent in on offence at RB and WR (obviously QB)......but the entire OL was made up of reserve level players, as well as TE. The DL is in the same condition, as Mebane is old and a shell of himself, MI injured, the rest are reserve players. Nwasou sp played well, but he isn't MI. Strong in the trenches is not a statement made about the Bolts......and that needs to change. That’s not a depth issue like you were saying originally. You just don’t like the talent of the starters. Totally different issue They have reserve level talent playing starter minutes, mostly due to injury, but in some cases not.....such as that group of OL players. Pouncy is/was the only starting level talent in the entire group. You do not win very often playing lesser talent than the opposing team is playing.

Otherwise, the OL has escaped injury all season and been the same group game in and game out. It's not injury that you're bitching about. Again, it's not a lack of depth that cost us yesterday.

Yes that same exact group you speak of, the OL that has escaped injury all season long, yes....those guys..... they are reserve level talent. I am not complaining about the injuries, I am saying when this starting roster loses HH, Okung, James, MI, among others, those losses expose the rest of the starting roster for what it is, predominately reserve level talent. What cost the Bolts yesterday is an OL that isn't any good. 2.5 yards a carry doesn't get it done, and that was against a supposedly weak team for defending the run game. Add in unimaginative coaching, and you get beat by a team that is terrible......

We may have missed HH yesterday. Hard to tell since he didn't play at all last year. James we always miss but his absence does nothing to explain a totally inept offense. MI i don't think we missed. Nwosu played well. Okung may never play another down but I don't think trent Scott cost us the game.
The time for excuses is over. Rivers sucked, Gordon sucked, Ekeler sucked, Keenan sucked, etc.

Well we're not as crappy as the browns, so there's that.
I seem to notice a key difference with efficient effective offenses. They call a play and then they run the play. Maybe we can just try that for once?

My favorite Chargers outsmarting to date is when Tyrod is in and Philip is lined up wide. That always gets em.

Not only would I expect him to bounce back, the Steelers secondary is still vulnerable. There are times when they are completely out of place and guys are wide open. The front 7 are pretty good, the cover guys not as much.

“It’s a different atmosphere,” Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco said of the NFL’s smallest stadium by a factor of two. “You don’t know who’s cheering for who sometimes. It’s kind of a pretty cool place to play, honestly. Not too dissimilar from a really nice double-A [baseball] stadium, and it’s cool to see a lot of orange jerseys out there in the stands.”
