Well. My summary: You cannot, cannot get down 17-0, and the next week 24-0 in the NFL. At least it makes analysis easy: That is 100% coaching. Agreed. But to be fair, the lack of ownership to put your fans in your home stadium seats is a serious handicap. For a team that went 8-2 on the road last year ?

I don't think the season is lost. There were signs of improvement. HH and rookie Jason Moore looked good. Its going to be uphill though. The middle of the line is weaker without pouncy and it showed. PR did not have much of a pocket to step up into. Run game does not exist. MGIII looked better at home pouting at this point. D may improve with returns of Ingram and James. Lynn is coaching scared. that needs to change as well Well, Steeler fans are beating the hell out of me out here, but don't have pity for me, I can take it.
My NFL historian friend opened up with his first comment that would have made the goalie proud: "Your Oline is a sieve."

Rightfully so. I was thinking turnstile but sieve works. Don't forget to remind the fans of their record. I'm sure that record will match up well when trash talking NE fans

Nobody wanted them there, I'm not sure they even want the Rams? It's Raider town, always will be... Giant money grab & spiting the city of San Diego for not footing the bill for a stadium. The team is a mess and Lynn looks completely lost, like Mike Tyson when he found out he couldn't just go knock out Buster Douglass.

I'm sure that record will match up well when trash talking NE fans What I saw last night for Pitt is both lines are good/front 7 good for their team. "It starts in the trenches." And ours is bad. I think the D line "tried" last night. The oline was a horrible display of sucking. I saw you were mad at Gordon, but I saw a player TRYING. Good running teams have 9 guys blocking on a run play. Our guys can't block, have no talent. Ekeler and Gordon ain't doing much with that.
Tennessee is incapable of getting up 24-0 on anyone. So we will have a chance in the second half down 14-0 this week.

Disc is so going to like that However, either Pitt's front is good or ours is bad. Its not both ways that I can tell from last night. Pitt was in the backfield far too often on run plays. How can one person make that much difference. I've never really been all that keen on Gordon. At times he shows. I still think he goes down too easily. He is good out of the BF and can block. To be fair, Whiz has not used him, Watt, or Ekler in any combination that frees them up more. If the Bolts are down at all again next week, Lynn will need to be run out of town on a rail.

On the plus side at least we have a place we talk through our frustrations.
Now I just need a shoulder to cry on.

Are we going from 12-4 to 4-12? I don't think so but I'm not totally confident that won't happen either. With an OL like we saw last night we can't expect many more wins year.

Yes. Yes it is. Yes its exactly that. Both. 2-4 would say otherwise. We don't want to believe the shellacking in front of our eyes last night, so we refer to the steelers record. I laugh. Check Denver's record too.
