Playing him hasn't made the bolts better. He is flat out average at best. Returned home from a fantastic vacation, only to look at how the Bolts have done the last two weeks.......what a debacle. Gordon is not average, but he is not worth his ask. The OL is average, and that is the problem....... Recommend watching games before making sweeping assessments.

I have watched MG in plenty of games, I feel comfortable in my assessment of his value, regardless of the events these past two weeks.

Interesting take. Rivers has been trash. Receivers have been trash. MG has been trash. AE has fumbled twice inside the 1. The defense has been trash, particularly against garbage offenses. The only bright spot I've seen this season is the return of Hunter Henry. But if you want to keep banging the O line drum, by all means.

If he was good he would make the OL look better. he doesn't. He screwed the team sitting out and has now screwed himself. If he was good, it would show by now. Ekler is a fumbler. So he is not much better

You are more than welcome to express your fix any time.......or just sit in the stands and bitch. Rivers will be in the HOF, the WR's are very solid with KA and MW, MG is a solid RB, as is Ekler.....give them a top OL, and watch what happens. Defence lost DJ early, and he is the guy that makes all around him think and play better than they are.

That said, I do acknowledge his talent. He is replaceable because his ask is not justified, as I can get that production from a 2nd rd pick, at a much better rate. Ekler is fine, he just doesn't believe.....but Gordon doesn't either. Bad OL does that......it is like crap defence in front of a great goalie, doesn't take long for that goalie to not believe in his talent.

Tbh, I have to agree with the assessment that our OLINE is dire need of talent and health. Week in and week out we see how little time Rivers has, the pressure created, lack of holes or push off the LOS; it’s quite embarrassing. I think it starts with TT doing a better job in scouting talent in the offensive line area and making that a primary focus. I get the philosophy of building talent through the draft but with the offensive line, there’s been too many misses over hits.

career wise Gordon has been above average. I'll admit. But right now he is not. Ekler fumbles because his discipline is poor. He tries for more. that is good in one sense, but with his poor style it works against him. I'm not into the head games. What may be true for a goalie, I don't think fits here. The analogy doesn't connect.
We need the old "Fire him now" threads...Maybe Pac will show up then

I have posted what I believe to be the cause of my above assessment in the "losing recipe" thread or whatever it's called. Though I must say I have a hard time carrying on a rational debate on this team's flaws with someone who has stubbornly made up his mind solely based on name recognition, box scores, and a couple games maybe partially observed several seasons back.

The injuries are a close second.....
