Oh I get the move, just think it is misguided. The 'dumpster fire' as you put it, is all about injuries, and poor talent in the reserve players. The OL was crappy to start, this many injured, it is a 'dumpster fire'..... False. You have a future HOF QB, a talented receiver group, a talented backfield with or without MG3. Now you have HH back too. Never in the SB era has a team failed to rush for 40 yards in 4 straight games. Never. Until now. You're never going to have 11 all pros. Figure out your weakness and scheme around it. The clear weakness has been run blocking, and Whiz has failed miserably to devise an offense that works against anyone not from south Florida. You have two backs excellent in space. So nearly every rush attempt stays between the tackles of your weak link? Asinine. It was a no brainer move. It doesn't save our season, that's likely beyond hope, but Whiz had to go. And I'm not at all sad to see it. Your belief that the talent level currently found along the Bolt OL is sufficient to achieve the goals you have in mind is misguided, even wrong to a fault. The OL is bad, and as such, so is the offence in general.

Your failure to read my post, in particular the fact that I acknowledge our O line weakness, and never claimed there to be any talent thereon, before jumping straight to your O line parroting, is expected and dare I say approved. To Whiz: You run what you brung. Make it work or GTFO. You're supposed to be the top 32 in the world in your craft. I would be much more amenable to your O line tepid take if I ever once, just once, saw a schematic attempt to work with the team on the field in a way that makes sense.

No, and I mean no no. You can't have it both ways. If you attack Whiz, and he gets fired, you are happy. That means all problems are solved, we will scored 43 poins a game and win the SB. This is the no waffling zone. Is it the be careful what you wish for zone ? Let's look back before YOUR Shane Steichen ...................takes over as powerful OC prior to the Packers game (God help every one of us). There have been MULTIPLE drafts where TT drafted defense (early) and Whiz was so mad, he wouldn't even talk to TT, was glaring at TT, and TT wouldn't even walk by his office. Now wait for it......wait............that story was recanted BY TT HIMSELF !!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S THE GUY YOU WANT TO NOW FIRE ?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Very Freak Approved. No drafting good offensive lineman, no FA Oline. "Whiz, you have Quessenberry and Culkin, now go get us 51 points per game. PS, now you don't even have Culkin anymore." ...................SERIOUSLY ?? WOW I get how the business works. Someone has to take the fall, it sure as hell wasn't going to be Lynn, so its bye bye Whiz. But I will say its a little Freakville to do it after a win. Should have done it after Tennessee. Again, I'll take a cautious approach---be careful what you wish for.

He didn't brung Quessenberry, Feeney, Schofield, and Tevi. But that is what he is forced to run. Or not "run" block at all as the talent dictates.

It's over. Iron fist time. *EDIT: You can choose to believe a phone typo, or you can choose to believe I'm assuming we can't beat the Packers in Lambeau Field southwest annex.

Here's what wasn't on my wish list this year: -Being 22nd in scoring -Being 31st in the red zone. For you math whizzes or there, there are only 32 teams. -Being the first team in the super bowl era to manage 4 straight games with under 40 rushing yards. Let that rattle around for a minute. -In those 4 straight games not being able to score more than 20 points. -Seeing Rivers lined up as a wide receiver while Tyrod freaking Taylor bungles his way around to a 3 yard loss. Multiple times.

I know everyone is waiting with bated breath, so here goes!
Chargers - 37 Packers - 35
That's right, it's an offensive explosion right on the heels of the Chargers "Taking a Whiz" off the team.
Huge mismatch + team in turmoil = unbelievable win
It's "Inconceivable!!" and totally going to happen...
Last time the Chargers beat them was on my birthday in 1984, it's fate I tell ya!

The Mullet Badger is back. No pressure to perform right off the bat, right? 😉

The Mullet Badger is back. No pressure to perform right off the bat, right? 😉 Yes, lots of pressure! I thought Chase did pretty well for us considering the state of Kicking across the NFL right now. I'm optimistic "Money Badger" lives up to his name again this year, but it would be soooo Charger-like if he didn't. Fingers crossed.
