I completely agree. Although this was a direct response to the ending of the Titans game. Lynn was taking a risk to set a new tone for this season....not nearly as risky as the 2-point conversion in Arrowhead last year but it sends the same message to his players. I wouldn't pick on average fans, but because you are smart enough : Should he wait until week 9 to set a tone ?
Never should have had 5 losses in 7 games. And it irks me to my core.
I'm afraid we'll be talking about Tennessee and Ekeler's butt on that last TD and Detroit for quite some time.

Loved it emotionally. Hated it rationally. When the fg extended the lead to 19, should not have taken the fg off the board. you were thinking rationally? it was late in the 3rd quarter. Late in the third I was staring blankly through the tv screen, drooling, and slowly shaving the fur off my Shih Tsu.
In other words, another typical Chargers game.

What did you guys think of Lynn going for it on 4th and Goal, and then Gordon scoring the Touchdown ?Like. It was a statement play , % risk and not simple W/L.I didn't see it as a huge risk. Our OL was dominant on the majority of run plays. Throw 'em a bone. They might just turn out to be legitimate attack dogs.

You are the enemy's secondary market pimp.
See, I told you no judging.
Happily. Thinking of doing the same for Vikes and Raiders. I’ll have to cut my kids out. Iron fist time. Grow up kiddies. Don’t blame me. Blame Spanos I'd be interested in helping you out with the Raiders game... PM me.

I'll take the higher draft picks. If we are going to the playoffs, then win early so it isn't freakin' crisis time in Week 7 forward.
What I don't want is the the 8-8, 9-7 tease that keeps us out of the playoffs AND lowers our draft picks listing.

Is it still a statement play if we get our faces snuffed once more at the goal line ? Does that change the picture ?

It was still our best day rushing, best OL job in quite a while. Our D got some nice breaks while the O drove the field & scored 3's.
Red zone production still needs improvement. Too many chances, not enough TDs.
One more would have been one among the many but instead was a statement play in an overall win.

Did you see Gordon LEAP over the defender in the middle of the field, only to get killed thereafter ?
Giver. Give till it hurts. Played like a 13 million bucks.

I just do not see Gordon getting more than 10 mil/yr........should be interesting this off season, reading about all his big dollar options.

sorry buddy. that's not how the chargers normally crush you, suck you back in only to crush you once again. I assume you are accustomed to it at this point.

Guys, is it ludicrous to remind everyone that no matter how shit the first half of the season was, we still control our destiny to win the division?
Start by pillaging the raiders Thursday. I was going to make an alliteration, but this is a safe space.
