I have been a Charger fan for many decades, my grandad started watching them in the old Balboa stadium, my first game I was 8 yrs old at the Murph......my grandad, my dad, and before to long I will be gone, not one SB win......This franchise is a disappointment.....remember the 14-2 season w/ Marty, that was our year......lol......the Chargers are a bad football team, they just are.....really bad......Justin H.....deserves a better team and I hope he can find one.....Keenan is out all year, he comes back in time to lose the game for us......BAD FOOTBALL TEAM......Very Bad.......

I'll post in this thread since this could be deemed a "Welcome Back" post. Even though it wasn't as heartbreaking as the 2006 season playoff loss that put me in a depressed state for a long, long time or as the 2009 postseason debacle, for various reasons (including for the sake of my mental health) I decided to take a break after the crusher in January with my self-imposed exile split between Cabo and Red Dear that now ends at the 2023 draft. I haven't been following the offseason as closely as I have in recent years, but I was pleasantly surprised that the roster losses haven't been as bad as they could have been through free agency. I am sure that a major point of contentious discussion over the past couple of months have involved the head coach and GM, but given the moves that have been made it is crystal clear that 2023 is an "All In" season where the roster and front office will be overhauled at the season's conclusion (with the exception of a few key pieces) if there is anything in the realm of last season's ending. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Chargers can replicate the Rams "All In" moves in 2021, they can resolve the Ekeler situation amicably, Kellen Moore can vastly upgrade the offensive scheme as opposed to the force-fed Lombardi, and that the draft combined with post-draft free agent signings (toes are crossed regarding Van Noy) can fill the several still-large holes on the roster. I know that I'm going to jinx myself (knocking on the wood that is my skull), but we can't have the same soul-crushing injuries AGAIN, can we? I'll end my post with some undeniably positive news: earlier this month, Terry (Chargeroo) wished me a happy birthday on social media & informed me that his cancer is in remission and he no longer needs oxygen. Roo gives all the credit to God, and I'm certain that we can all lift a beer for his continued good health in the coming year. Roo deserves to see an NFL championship for his Chargers after all his years of fandom! Cheers to y'all!

Part of me thought you might have gone back to the Commanders now that Snyder is out. That Jags defeat left a bad taste in all our mouths. Not excited to see that squad run it back but we’ll see
