That’s the thing: they had a ripe opportunity to shed the money cost and move on down the road.

Mayock traded for him, but ultimately Chucky calls the personnel shots in the current Raiduhs structure. Like you said, it’s only a matter of time, and they’ll regret not cutting the ties before the other $29 million is guaranteed.

Thinking about it some more: given the production quality of the video, this was probably the first go-round of "Do you want to be a Raider" call that was recorded after Mayock laid down the law and before he called Mayock a cracker and tried out for the Raiders punting position.

Still, nuts for Gruden to be okay with it: he has lost all team discipline if that's his real feelings.

I think it was telling when Gruden said I don't know what you have off the field, but you are a football player-play football. AB replies I'm a person,,I know football. That's sounds like he doesn't know how to be a person, or he's lost.

I think he has serious personal issues/mental illness.
