Watkins was a significant upgrade over Teamer. Q-berry had a great game. He may be the long term answer at Center. Q did play well, and wasn't he drafted specifically for OC? I still need to see solid play for more than a single game before I am a buyer. How about about 2 games? |

Rivers was very accurate - he had a nice game.
Thomas Davis is just too slow.
King had a great game.
Quessenberry played very well.
Bosa and Ingram keeping on the pressure all game long.
Nice to see Gordon running hard
Tranquill should get more playing time.

It appears Q is the answer at Center. Why didn't our coaching staff see that? I recall Pouncey praising him early on but the coaches kept him on the bench.

Popper said in his column that Watkins was valued by Bradley for his versatility (plays five positions) and is undersized for strong safety (under 200 pounds), but in retrospect that was a mistake. Watkins needs to be in there until Derwin and/or Phillips are back on the active roster.
