I haven’t waffled a bit. If we’re just going to trade him as u suggest, then I don’t even care about him The only thing I did was present a whimsical storyline wherein Forrest is not necessarily a bust, while not starting. We would find ourselves with more than enough depth at IOL, and Lamp would fetch plenty in a trade. So why is anybody calling Lamp a bust now ? It is a wild, ego driven guess, and disgustingly cheap talk, from those who should know better. Convince your running mate please. Who's the Presidential candidate on this ticket, you or pac ? How do you think "Lamp would fetch plenty in a trade" when he can't even get on the field ? Lamp has played what 10-20 plays in two years. Where do you come up with this stuff.......

frozen, just a question.
It would be interesting to here your thoughts on this.
During your career, were you ever labelled a bust ?
If yes, what was that like ?

I don't recall ever hearing the word 'bust', but I knew long before my development stalled that I wasn't going to be a success in the NHL as a player. How does that feel you might ask. Disappointing at first, but then it frees you up to more fully enjoy the ride.

Ah......a fantasy from WoodMod about his Weddle love Lamp..... If it was a story, it would go like this:
"Tommy T. and the Magic Lamp"
First two wishes of an injury-free TC, and becoming a starter, don't pan out... Third wish of Magic Lamp about to become reality...

He is a bad draft pick, not a bust. If he does not start this year I'm in the bust side Context. frozenbanana has been declaring Lamp a bust for a year straight, while occasionally backpedaling, to cover all bets. Yes, it is wait and see. I say Lamp will start, but he will have to beat out Schofield by a wide margin.

Do you feel that front office people and fans prevented you from winning any Vezina Trophies ? SNAP. The sound of the trapdoor shutting.

Nope, but I never competed for the Vezina, so there is that small aspect. Nothing impacted my development but my own lack of talent. Had all the support possible, given plenty of opportunities, I just wasn't good enough. It is pretty simple.....

Generally (IF we were to attempt a trade), these situations call for a like for like trade. Think Rashaun Woods for Sammy Davis. So we'd pawn Lamp for another prospect that is looking for a fresh start. I wouldn't do that, at least not until well after training camp.

He is.
He'll do what he'll do.
Labels are for poseurs such as myself, insignificant.
Lamp is entering his third year and will either compete and earn a starting spot or he will not.

Maybe those who are in the "pro bust" crowd, should actually wait and see. Going back and forth between calling Lamp a bust and saying unless he starts in '19, is the same thing as calling him a bust. No one is threatening your constutional rights of free speech. We are just letting you know that your cheap talk is wrong, and your crap posting on this subject occurs far too often.
