If Rivers wants out (and gets out unless the Bolts Tag him) due to feeling upset about the move, disrespected not getting an offer after a great 12-4 year, and sick of 16 road games he may not be the only player not wanting to resign. Perhaps Bosa doesn't enjoy 16 road games either and being the laughing stock of the league. Same with free agents. If no one wants to come play here we could be 0-16 for many years until they move to London. IDK CB. Rivers said it was fine and I believed him. Lying and not giving it to him NOW is the baddie. not that the Chargers would ever do that.......................................

I think the Bosa extension, or not, will be very telling. If Bosa goes to FA, Bolts will have years of the same losing efforts. Rivers moves on, for whatever reason, then TT needs to get a relevant QB for Bosa to believe........rolling with Taylor, or Stick, sends a terrible message. WHOA, hold up now. You said Gordon was under contract. Take the 5 or leave. I said be careful of a reputation around the league, and NOW you want Bosa re-signed ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Good stuff. Could you point out where I said I wanted Bosa resigned ?

The rumors I heard state we roll with Tyrod and aren't picking a QB in the draft... Take that with a grain of salt, but nothing would surprise me. I think we MUST resign Bosa or trade him, reputation is important IMHO. Just look at the Bengals, we're hearing alot of "Cincinnati will ruin Burrow" talk.
Personally... I think Bosa is overrated and I would trade him.

It has very little to do with Bosa, and everything to do with perception of the club by players. Everyone knows they have bad acquisition, bad coaching, and a few great players mixed in with mediocre to poor ones. What alternative perception is being promoted? Sure, sell the dream. But players have agents and lawyers and friends. They see dollars and burning trash in LA. Not too sure what you mean here.... "bad acquisition" could me plenty of things. Poor drafting, poor draft evaluations, bad FA signings....etc etc. "bad coaching" I do not agree with. I think Lynn is just average (yes I would fire him) and nowhere near innovative enough, but 'bad' seems unfair. Actions create perception among players and their agents, and at this point any 'plan' the Bolts might have will be kept tightly held, which will hurt the perception of the club around the league. FA's have a diverse set of reasons for signing, money only being one of them.

Rolling with Taylor will be a disaster in my view. I would not 'shop' Bosa, but I sure as heck would not be afraid to trade him either. This off season is the time to decide on that move.

I think what is important is if Bosa has no interest in resigning......similar to if Rivers told TT 'I will either play elsewhere, or retire' when TT approached him about next season. The message from the players would not be good....

I agree with both of you... I'm fine with Tyrod being a stop gap if PR is gone, but we'd have to draft a future starting QB at some point this year.

Review all QB's and give me some evaluations. You know, all will do the grind work so I don't have to. That kind of stuff.
Why do I get the feeling its Burrow and Tua, and then the elite falls off from there ? That is why the draft is so fun. Herbert could be the next Peyton Manning and some darkhorse can be the next Mahomes. Just an unknown factor.
But for now, put my down as Burrow and Tua are the elite.
Thanks

The message from the players would not be good.... Oh he has a lot of interest. Millions and Millions of interest. Will TT pay it ?
Are we angry that San Fran got the better Bosa brother ?

You mean the other Bosa brother got the better team... I don't think this sits well with Joey, with that said does he stay or does he go?

It is QB time in this draft regardless of any resigning of Rivers, or any other FA, in my view. Burrow is the best QB, no question, but I am not a Tua fan. I believe Herbert will be the better QB over Tua after we are looking back on this. The concern is a club jumping the Bolts to take Herbert, or Miami taking him if a club jumps to 4th and takes Tua. I have a feeling QB hell is here.....

Bosa will get those millions from any club, doesn't need to be the Bolts....yes..... Are you angry that Cincinnati will get Burrows ? You get who you get......
