Rivers is gone and the Chargers DON'T have a following in the SOUTH anymore.....San Diego South This team will NEVER be in a Super Bowl from here on out as long as Spanos owns the team.

I'm a big fan of the Ducks but I said a couple of months ago that Herbert is a risk. He sure has the arm strength but he's often inaccurate. When he was a freshman I thought the Ducks had found a really good QB but he seems to have regressed each year since then. I'd probably take a shot at him if we were drafting toward the end of round one but not at #6. Fot you older fans, he kind of reminds me of John Hadl. Remember how Hadl could go from hot to cold all of a sudden - Herbert does that.

I don't think anyone but Burrows may be elite (and there are always more flops than hits so even Burrow can flop). Tua seems to me a major flop possibility same with Herbert. So many qb draft flops it's scary. Unless they are touted the way Luck was I have zero interest as it seems 9 of 10 are usually flops. I'd rather do it the way the Cardinals used to do it. They tried hard to get a proven qb in Cousins, they got a proven qb in Carson Palmer, they got a proven qb in Kurt Warner and got to the SB. I want Rivers back, if Rivers refuses due to 16 road games (just like Bosa may and any other free agents) then I want one of the 3 different types of tags put on him, if he demands a trade or sits out then I want to go after a proven qb except for Brady. Go after Brees or some of the other proven f.a's like a Tannehill, Bridgewater, etc.

With our oline they are on you so fast he won't feel any pressure, or anything else for that matter. Pressure is for normal teams.

Failing under pressure might very well be Herbert's undoing at the next level, only time will tell. I have absolutely no problem drafting BPA the entire draft. Then all next season we can roll with the slogan Lose For Lawrence.

By the time the draft rolls around don't be shocked if he still isn't, and don't be shocked if its not us moving up for him.
