Why? The article has some good points. San diego would come back to the chargers The love affair with QB's older than PR is just that... Clickbait.
Brees leaving New Orleans for LA, leaving Payton for Lynn, leaving a playoff contender for a 5 win club. None of which make logical sense... If Brees were let go he could still sign with a better team. The Chargers are not a QB away from a Superbowl, again Brees makes zero sense.

I completely disagree. Chargers were coming off of a 12-4 season just one short year ago. A healthy derwin jamew, bosa and Ingram means we can go up against anybody.
Brees back in the powder blue! No reason to not be for that (aside from rivers or Brady)

I completely disagree. Chargers were coming off of a 12-4 season just one short year ago. A healthy derwin jamew, bosa and Ingram means we can go up against anybody. Brees back in the powder blue! No reason to not be for that (aside from rivers or Brady) Other than the words of of Brees’ mouth. He said he’s either retiring or returning to the Saints. He said he wouldn’t even consider playing for another team.

I can understand that might be true with any other franchise, but brees has some unfinished business with the chargers. Remember he lives in San Diego still, so would be good for his family.

Just like the Patriots are more than just Boston, the chargers have to think on a regional level. Drew Brees is the smart move and would garner support from all of California. I bet he's up for it if we show support -- he does have unfinished business with the chargers, not sure why that's disputed -- what if he had stayed?
Brees to Allen for the td sounds nice.

Appreciate your enthusiasm thats for sure but I don't think you'll find many who agree with you. Brees ship sailed many years ago... He might have a house in SD but its not his home, nor is it the Chargers home, Spanos made it clear how he feels about the fanbase in SD when he moved.
