Football stats are for fantasy players and the dim. LOL! Of course! W-L is meaningless, it's how you play the game! (? duh? ) I’ll piggyback off of your astute sarcasm and rapier wit... the sample size is too small. Thank you. I love you creamily.

I think Rivers was a problem with his audibles, so reeling that in was important. If there truly was a 'control' clash between Rivers and Lynn, I understand the FO's decision to move on from Rivers, and there was way more to that decision than just taking HC over player. That acknowledged, I think Lynn is just an average, to even below average HC, and would have moved on from him. All of the 'wants' you have listed won't help a boring, predictable, sloppy HC..... Yea sloppy....just look at how unprepared his team was in so many games, that is on him. Moving on from a franchise QB, even one clashing with the HC, has not made this team better. Welcome to QB hell...... I saw sloppy players. It wasn't typical of Lynn's Chargers. They were guys like King who knows how to play at a very high level and did so in the past for Lynn. I thought it was a case of trying too hard. Rivers included, - who may have been the primary offender. It's the belief among many GMs & owners that it's better to let an aging star go too soon rather than to keep him too long. I know that has been the Chargers operating theory. I agree with moving on from PR. Use that cap on FA OL, other key position(s) as opportunity permits. Keeping PR would have been a stalling tactic that may have avoided QB hell in 2020 but was unlikely to lead to Lombardi heaven. There are NO guarantees.
Give Lynn his mobile QB & ground game with a killer D. See how it goes. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Rivers had his best years as a young QB with LT pounding the rock. That isn't coming back.
This 1000000.00% I'd also be curious to hear a more specific explanation of "prepared"... Are they prepared if they win and unprepared if they lose? Or is that just a new buzz word we are using to justify calling for a new HC??

When you’re coming out down 14 in the first 5-8 minutes of the first quarter like the Chargers did a few times And look asleep and lost I’d say you weren’t ready to play.

Draft Wills OT in the first. Move up into the bottom of the 1st and draft Jordan Love. You would have Tom B., and the Wills for creamy Love both on 5 year team options.

Or.....this game is for 1st in the AFCW.....both teams know it, Bolts get blown out. Or......going 0-6 against AFCW. Or.....going 5-11, and actually looking like a 5-11 team, even though there is plenty of talent. None of that lands in Lynn's lap......nope......none of it. Fire that OC, get rid of that franchise QB......who gets the blame next season. Oh yea, it will be TT.....

Sometimes getting beat is just getting beat. Believe it or not I'm not trying to defend Lynn but players gotta execute. This last season their was obviously something going on between Lynn, Whis, and PR... We are now in the aftermath of that "issue". Blame game aside, we'll know next year exactly what kind of coach Lynn is and what kind of team the Chargers are without Philip Rivers.

Give him a QB, and a good oline......and I will be the first to destroy him for 5-11. (injuries. have to cut the injuries)

The goalie's knee jerk reaction to fire Lynn is understandable.
The 8th longest tenured coach in the NHL has 3 years.
They swap coaches every year.

It seems they have swap coaches each and every time. With no end in sight.
