Chargers: Home of the 4 yard passes. How many of your love sack Mahomes' passes were nothing but forward handoffs of the two foot version........
50 TD's is a joke ......build the defence, send Mahomes back to wherever he came from. Ummmmmmmmm Butterfly goes downfield a LOT. All over downfield, and I don't know another QB that goes downfield more than he does. You are just completely and utterly wrong about that. Which doesn't surprise anyone. 50 TD's is not a joke. Winning the Superbowl isn't either. We can play Taylor, Stick, whatever at QB. Yea, go 2020 !! But don't even use Taylor and Mahomes in the same sentence. Nor the same stratosphere. You are completely delusional to do so.

You are completely delusional to do so. There you go misconstruing the discussion. This is not a comparison between Mahomes and whomever the Bolts' QB ends up being. My post doesn't even mention any other QB, much less specifically the Chargers' potential QB's. The 50 TD's is misleading when used as a support for Mahomes' prolific passing skills, as a good number of those TD's were where the pass and catch both happened behind the LOS, with a bunch being WR crossing two feet in front of Mahomes. Yes it is a pass, but..... I am not saying Mahomes is not a good player, he quite clearly is. I am saying build the defence, and let us play.....not afraid, going to be fun.

I think the Chargers are looking to pair a killer defense with a ball control/low turnover offense. Think Trent Dilfer. Taylor and Mahomes should not be in the same sentence, but it will be the team that writes the story.

Build the 2019 49'ers and hope Lynn is a better coach in the second half.

Cap space trouble for them.

Build the 2019 49'ers and hope Lynn is a better coach in the second half. The problem was Garropolo. My fear is that we build the SF defense, and then rely on Tyrod Taylor in a World Stage Monster Game Superbowl. am I the only one seeing how that plays out ? I can't be. Can I ? Am I ? Will I ?

There is a very big gap between the Chefs and the Bolts, and it isn't limited to just QB's......as coaching might be an even bigger gap.

Hey....hey.....man, wake up...... Ok, now that you are awake, consider just how much of a stretch it is to see a Taylor led Bolts in the Super Bowl. Yea, not happening.....as in not close at all. Bolts will be lucky to have a winning record next season.

There is no way Lynn and Stedman can even sniff Reids jock strap when it comes to offense. Best we can do is hope Gus can put together the Legion of Boom 2.0

Our trenches have improved with Turner, Bulaga, and Joesph. Run Jackson for 4. Run Ekeler for 4. Hit Allen for 4, all the way down the field. It keeps Butterfly on the sideline. Taylor is a game manager, then manage the game.

I won't stop trying: The term is Game Manager, not Game Winner. Remember that at all cost. It tells you everything.

I'm not a big draft guy and I have no idea what we should do after the first round.
Here is my preference out of realistic options with the 1st round pick:
1. Tua (trade up if you have to) 2. Simmons 3. Best remaining LOT 4. Hebert

If there is a move up by a club below the Bolts, both Tua and Herbert should be gone, leaving Simmons as a possibility. Regardless of how this plays out, the draft, TT will be adding a solid player......or he should be.
