irrelevant?
Hardly. You have stated Herbert starts over Tyrod. "talent plays". But then you just listed that id there is no TC he doesn't. ergo you prove my point, there is NO WAY to know Herbert is starting as emphatically as you state.
BTW: you both suck as mod candidates.
One of us sucking as a mod is enough.
Herbert will be the starting QB.......time will prove that to you I guess. Taylor is just average, and Herbert is way above average, it won't take but a few days for that average HC to figure it out. WoodMod isn't that bad.....he is rarely here. I just have to learn the hard way. Like I said one sucky Mod is enough.

Your point is irrelevant, as I said the NFL will have a TC and pre season games of some sort, enough that Herbert easily shows to be the player TT hoped for when making that 6th overall pick. irrelevant?

Nominated POTD. When you can destroy Freak, frozen, AND Joe McRugby in one single post. You are getting nominated.

Not as a destruction you you or anyone else Destructing yourself just earned you a 5 team parlay. They pay 20-1 !!!! Congrats. Just to show you my well documented genius, or rather, I don't like my intelligence insulted. I, and I alone, have taken note that you destroyed all EXCEPT Joe. I joke and kid as a way to garner information for my ever fertile mind. Thank you for providing the pieces for my puzzle. Sorry. Its a gift I was born with it. Love an Emperor. Its really the only way.

Moving away from trade up scenarios. Here's a wild thought for the 2020 Vision: What if the draft happens as planned and then the football season is cancelled later this summer. Are players with guaranteed contracts still getting paid regardless of taking a single snap? Does the franchise tag become voided for next season? Do we get to keep guys like Bosa another year because technically he didn't accrue another year on his current deal? Presumably, the college football season could follow suit and also be cancelled. Then what?!? No draft next year... First, here's hoping this post finds you and yours well in this continued pandemic lockdown (at least in some places). Thought I'd dig up a post of mine from a month ago and ask the CMB to revisit the questions I proposed which seem more and more like real possibilities. Not going to say "I told you so" to those that mocked me that this could never happen, but how will the 2021 draft look if there's no college football season or worse no NFL season? Will owners increase next years rosters to allow for evaluating current players on the roster? Do players with guaranteed contracts still get paid this year regardless of playing a single snap? Do we get to keep guys an extra year on current contracts? How short of a season would you consider as a valid year of playing? Curious to hear your thoughts... Here's a quote from an article on the NFL website: "The California State University system, which includes three FBS football programs in the Mountain West Conference -- Fresno State, San Diego State and San Jose State -- announced this week that its fall classes will primarily be online; California is one of the states that remains largely shut down. And although the Mountain West issued a statement that no firm decisions about athletics have been made, CSU system chancellor Timothy White's announcement came just days after NCAA president Mark Emmert made it clear that student-athletes won't be playing sports where students aren't welcomed back to campuses." Link to full article here: www.nfl.com/news/pandemic-throwing-college-football-2021-prospects-into-limboI hope there's a full season of NFL games and college football, but who truly knows what the future holds........never say never.

A sect of the US Gov is not going to let colleges close or fail. Football will part of the plan.

Let me tell you about Mr. Murray from Oklahoma. It takes extreme confidence for a LB to take Merriman's Charger jersey, and Lawrence Taylor's number. We could really have something special with this rookie. So excited for him.

GREAT insight on QB competition making both Taylor and Herbert better players. I like his excitement about the defense. Calling them a top 5 defense is cool. He was talking about the defense is going to make turnovers. Well, they have to show me that because last year was disgusting for low low turnovers. Its a good goal though. Something no one talks about: Not only does Shawne think the Chargers had the best offseason in the NFL in 2020, he believes its the Chargers best offseason EVER. I can see what he's talking about when you look at who we got in free agency.

We all sadly know that injuries derailed what could-have-been a HOF-level career, but like Mike Tyson he is looking fitter than hell these days!
