Its exciting. He goes sideline to sideline and is a tricking blitzer. He'll run you down, Perryman will knock your teeth out.

I am sure Bradley was behind it coupled with Telesco. But they REALLY must have loved Murray to trade up there for him.
He was targeted all the way. Exciting.

NFL.com:
Kenneth Murray will be a star football player and leader on defense -- I can't blame the Chargers for moving up to get him. Giving up a second- and third-round pick in the trade is not ideal but getting a top-15 player at No. 23 makes it worth the price.

Cardinals, LB Isaiah Simmons, Clemson Grade: B-. I'm not in love with this kid as a player. The range is phenomenal, but where does he play? Is he a safety? Is he a linebacker? Is he a hybrid? This kid to me is a safety. I don't think he's physical enough to play near the line of scrimmage.

Wonder why I am not writing for them.....................

Oooooooooo, Telesco said it was Lynn losing his mind for Kenneth Murray. Followed up with all staff and scouts said Murray too. That caused the trade up to get him.
Top 15 rated. Exciting !!!

From Daniel Popper’s column: If Herbert was the decadent red velvet cake, Murray was the cream-cheese icing on top. This was a very bold move for Telesco, who gave up the Chargers’ second-round pick (No. 37) and third-round pick (No. 71) to the Patriots to trade back into the first round. I figured a trade-back-in was possible, given how Telesco raved last week about the depth in this first round. I thought it would be for an offensive tackle. But as the draft approached, it became increasingly apparent that the team viewed linebacker as a much bigger need than tackle. Murray and LSU’s Patrick Queen both were dropping. The Chargers, as it turns out, had Murray ranked very high on their board. Telesco wouldn’t say specifically, other than to call Murray a “premium player.” My guess is they had Murray ranked in the top 15 on their board, perhaps higher, largely because he is a perfect fit in Gus Bradley’s scheme and the team’s culture. He’s fast. He’s athletic. He has incredibly quick feet for a 241-pound man. He is a punishing hitter. And Telesco and the coaching staff love his leadership traits. “He plays with a really violent mentality. You can just kind of feel him on the field with the presence that he plays with,” Telesco said. “He’s a player our scouting staff, our coaching staff, our head coach are really, really excited about. This is a guy that everyone was pounding the table on for weeks. So we felt like once it got to a certain point, it gave us that opportunity to go up and be aggressive and get him. “There was 100 percent buy-in to add him to this football team.” theathletic.com/1771085/2020/04/24/in-a-bold-first-round-chargers-add-cornerstones-at-quarterback-and-linebacker/
