The choirboy theme continues.................. They really stayed local huh ? High School, college, and now pro in So Cal. Matt Money Smith was ecstatic after the pick was made because he loved the guy after getting the opportunity to watch and interview Kelly the past couple of years at UCLA. The choirboy image isn't an act, it's who Kelly is: a genuinely good dude who has had to work hard for everything he has gotten and who coincidentally reminds me of another Chargers RB on the current roster.

The entire roster's choirboy image isn't an act either. We may be 5-11 but we can be proud of our guys I'd take 51 ax murderers if it meant a trophy.

Detroit Lions draft RB D'Andre Swift. Second round out of Georgia. Have you seen his Dad I guarantee the Georgia coaches told D'Andre "run the ball like your Dad is chasing you". www.facebook.com/watch/?v=231904508087052

I'll tell you what. I bet D'Andre ate his peas, did the dishes, washed the car. He probably beat up his own friends at college that wanted to do bad stuff at school !!!!

Do we cut Justin Jackson in favor of more depth at another position like WR?

That stat line got MGIII killed around here Yesterday were hard running yards this week in situations where MGIII usually hesitated and got stuffed at the LOS as a result. Kelley almost always got 2-3 yards even when a hole wasn't there - he plowed through. I expect him to get more room to run against the Panthers.

Stuffed twice

Stuffed twice Kelley didn't pull up. No hole and unimaginative play-calling down there, and I would not have given MGIII crap for that had he run with the same conviction. It's not the stat-line per se to me; it's the willingness to attack the LOS even when there is no hole. Gordon has a lot of strong points with his running style, but that was definitely a weakness in his game in all five years he was with the Chargers.
