Sorry but there was only one "Air" anything in Charger history and that was "Air Coryell"..... anybody that even brings up another version should be suspended for at least 2 weeks or until the beaches are open 100% whichever comes first Seems excessive. But I'll forward your formal charges to The Royal Court System. Backed up a little right now. Class action suit was filed by a group named "Draft Simmons Now". The judges laughter was drowned out by the noise of the paper shredder. You could hear back as early as September.

I believe that this would be the first time as a member of an NFL coaching staff that Lynn wouldn't have a fullback on the roster ... coinciding with the first time that Lynn has full control of the offensive scheme. I guess it's time to get ready for Air Lynn, right? Otherwise, I believe that a hard-blocking & hard-hitting undrafted free agent fullback has a shot at making a roster that includes no veteran currently on the 90-man roster. But heck, what do I know??? 🤷♂️ It seems like there is this debate every year about the value of having a fullback versus using that roster spot to retain an additional WR or CB or whatever....... This year I suspect any FB will be needing to bring ST's abilities or value in order to make the roster. Perhaps this is already a needed requirement, as I have no idea how they used Watt other than the occasional FB duty. Watt led the team in special teams tackles in 2019 by a wide margin. He is a ST stud. _____ Watt is a special teams ace as well, and has recorded 33 tackles, including 24 solo stops, in four seasons. He was tied for the NFL lead with 16 special teams tackles in 2019 and was a first alternate Pro Bowl selection. www.steelers.com/news/steelers-sign-fullback-derek-watt

From Daniel Popper’s Q&A today: Who do you think of the undrafted prospects the chargers have will make jt to the final 53? I’ve got two names for you: Bobby Holly, a fullback out of Louisiana Tech, and Joe Gaziano, a defensive end out of Northwestern. The Chargers lost Derek Watt to the Steelers in free agency, and Lynn has said he wants to add a fullback to replace Watt. That’s where Holly factors in. The Chargers have him listed at 5-foot-11, 240 pounds. theathletic.com/1789588/2020/05/01/chargers-mailbag-justin-herbert-pep-hamilton-forrest-lamp-udfas-and-more/

He filled up the stat sheet as a senior with five pass breakups, three forced fumbles, a blocked kick and two safeties.
This guy is nobody's dummy on the football field. Pretty good read here, some sites had him going in the 6th round: boston.cbslocal.com/2020/03/18/2020-nfl-draft-prospect-joe-gaziano-new-england-patriots-northwestern

These two will be intriguing to watch because I do not expect it to be Air Lynn in 2020 (I should have used green font in my other post to make that clear).

Gordon is gone, and they didn't answer the void I see there. People are SO fast to dismiss Gordon's production behind a really bad offensive line. There is some improvement on the line, but now Gordon is gone. Both Taylor and Herbert can run. You can do some RPO. I'm sorry, but I am NOT seeing our RB group pulling off Ground Lynn.

But....but.....they did pull off 'ground Lynn' during those games that Gordon was showing the club who had the leverage by staying home...... To answer your point minus that sarcasm, the offence will just be different as it employs the strengths of different players in the approach. Will it be successful ? That is the reason why they play the games. If it is complete failure, Gordon crowd will seek vindication, the Rivers gang will say not having Rivers is the reason....etc etc etc * someone else might blame the OL group....not sure who that might be.

How they change the approach, or design the game plan each week. Knowing the play called will for the most part be the play actually run. It will be interesting to see the transition.

At 5-11, we can use stick em, film practices, deflate balls, steal playbooks, whatever.
