I'm in the group that could give a crap about vindications and reasons. I want Wins. Winning is all that matters.....unless you cheated, eh? I am looking forward to seeing how the adjustments are to not having Rivers. How they change the approach, or design the game plan each week. Knowing the play called will for the most part be the play actually run. It will be interesting to see the transition. Yeah Definitely gonna see what this coaching staff is made of.

But who are we grindin' with Joe ? Gordon is gone, and they didn't answer the void I see there. People are SO fast to dismiss Gordon's production behind a really bad offensive line. There is some improvement on the line, but now Gordon is gone. Both Taylor and Herbert can run. You can do some RPO. I'm sorry, but I am NOT seeing our RB group pulling off Ground Lynn. But....but.....they did pull off 'ground Lynn' during those games that Gordon was showing the club who had the leverage by staying home...... To answer your point minus that sarcasm, the offence will just be different as it employs the strengths of different players in the approach. Will it be successful ? That is the reason why they play the games. If it is complete failure, Gordon crowd will seek vindication, the Rivers gang will say not having Rivers is the reason....etc etc etc * someone else might blame the OL group....not sure who that might be. LOL!

LAC has the potential to reach the playoffs, maybe do some damage- "IF". 1. Stay healthy. 2. Develop young players. 3. Get the scheme/playcalling tuned to maximize skillsets.

1. You can throw number 1 straight out the window. 2. Gus Bradley will develop LB Murray 3. Well 1 out of 3 ain't bad.

I was hoping it wouldn't come down to that because we all fear the truth. BUT, if you want some upside hope, at 5-11 this coaching staff's asses better be on fire. The BS is over. Time to win, Lynn. There IS an element of going 5-11 and having major issues with your QB. Ok............we got rid of the franchise QB and used a first round pick on a rookie QB. You are a coach on the line now................

Healthy is always a component to a winning season, but even more so with this roster. I just do not see the talent in the depth. Developing the young guys is a must, and especially after last draft no shows.....Tillery, Adderly....what the heck happened there? The scheme and play calling is the one big unknown going forward. Bolts have a chance to radically change their approach, rendering previous knowledge of their style useless by the opponents. Somehow I cannot see Gus changing too much, and Lynn is as boring and lacking creativity as it gets.

We’ll see if Popper has a clue as he takes a beyond-early shot at predicting the initial roster. Fullbacks (1) Bobby Holly Running backs coach Mark Ridgley, who spent the past two seasons as the Chargers’ assistant offensive line coach, reiterated in a video-conference interview on Wednesday that the team anticipates rostering a fullback to replace Derek Watt. Watt, of course, signed with the Steelers this offseason. Ridgley mentioned Holly and Gabe Nabers, the Chargers’ two undrafted free agent fullbacks, as possibilities. This will be an open competition. I’m 50-50 on the two right now and need to see them on the practice field before I can make an educated prediction. But Holly posted a video on Twitter earlier this month of him PULLING A PICKUP TRUCK WITH A ROPE. I was impressed. So he gets the nod … for now. theathletic.com/1827003/2020/05/20/a-first-early-projection-of-the-chargers-53-man-roster/

For the record, he used an F-250 instead of a Silverado.

You go forward at fullback Holly. sheesh.

Nabers has an attractively versatile skill set. TE/ FB blocker/ receiver. It should be a good competition.
