You'd think I'd be used to this- losing all the time, blowing leads, bad play and worse play calling, etc.- but I still get mad every time. Every. Single. Time.
Each week a different story but the same ending; the kicker can't do his job, then the offense sucks, next it's the defense that can't stop anyone (OK, that last one is more than once) and when there's blame on a different group each time the common denominator MUST be the coaching.
With all the talent on this roster, why can't put we together four solid quarters of football??? Heck, I'd be happy with just two quarters if they were the third and fourth quarter. We've had good FIRST halves, but what's the culprit to the terrible SECOND halves with no adjustments and blowing leads? It's coaching.
I know some will mention excuses like all the injuries we have or that "it's the players on the field that have to execute" but why does our team not play to the strengths (or to hide the weaknesses) of its second stringers by adjusting during the game as needed based on the personnel of our team and our opponents? Again, it's coaching.

Keep losing, and top 5 pick is possible.

Again, it's coaching. We don’t have as much talent as people seem to think. Bosa left the game in the second half today and after he left we had zero pass rush. Obviously we miss Derwin James and to a lesser extent Tranquil and Harris. But the most glaring underperformed to me is Adderley. You need an eraser in that position and he is frequently out of position or fails to make a stop line he did today on Lindsey’s long TD run or the catch and run by 17. He’s killing us on the back end

Herbert made a number of costly errors as well and he is our bright spot!
the bolts need an overhaul. too many players who cannot stay on the field, a coaching staff with no purpose, and an owner who is just plan incompetent.
