I don’t want JJ or Sherman or JuJu. I do want 2 OL and one CB in FA, possibly another linebacker at the right price.

Do you have a name for that CB ? I've always liked Michael Davis. I saw the talent early on, but they had to teach him to turn his head to the ball. To his credit, he learned it.

Ertz has one year left on his contract at $8.25 million. He’s a California native & Stanford grad, and his wife Julie (Women’s soccer national team) is a Santa Clara grad. I could see the Chargers putting out feelers for a potential trade that would save about $4-6 million in cap space if they are still far apart from Henry on a multi-year deal.

As I said, you do NOT have a Herbert and not surround him with talent. Telesco got the memo.

Talk about a side-grade... I'd rather keep Henry, he already has chemistry with Herbert and the team.

Talk about a side-grade... I'd rather keep Henry, he already has chemistry with Herbert and the team. Ertz suffered an ankle injury this past season where he spent 6 weeks on IR before returning at the end of the season. He was a Pro Bowler from 2017 through 2019 when he caught the following: 2017: 74 receptions, 824 yards, 8 TD’s 2018: 116 receptions, 1,163 yards, 8 TD’s 2019: 88 receptions, 916 yards, 6 TD’s The only down side from Henry is age as Ertz will be 31 in 2021. I’d rather keep Henry too, but not at $14 million / year on a multi-year contract or a reapplication of the franchise tag that costs $16 million under a low $180ish million cap. This is an option that they have to explore if negotiations are going nowhere with Henry’s agent.

That puts the Chargers in a tight spot.

Chargers QB Justin Herbert: 'I think anyone should aspire to be like Tom Brady'
To compete with the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West, Herbert knows he'll have to continue to progress.
"It's to keep getting better, to improve," he said when asked how L.A. keeps up with K.C. "You know, we played some pretty good football there at the end of the year, and put four in a row -- four wins, four big wins -- with a couple tow-minute drives, and big defensive stops. And if we could apply that to the entire year, there's a lot to look forward to, because I think we've got the roster. I think we've got the locker room. I believe in those guys, and I believe in the staff, so I'm really excited to be part of it."
Our boy is looking to lead. Competitor. He wants to win. #10isReal
