This seems blasphemous to even think considering our desperate need to improve the O-line, but... Kyle Pitts the TE from Florida is starting to grow on me as our first round pick this year. I'm not saying I'm there yet, but if the OTs don't measure up (or are gone) he might be the best offensive weapon we could add at a PON. My thoughts as well... If we let HH go, I look for this as a probability. Oline should still be priority though IMHO.

I don't have a problem with Pitts, but he better be the next Kelce. TE's are not of great value in a draft. So to go #13, he better be crazy good.

He's listed at 240 and Kelce is listed at 260, in another comparison Jimmy Graham plays at 265 and Kittle at 250.

I think it is fair to say that quite a few OT's will go in round one, 5-7 is my guess. So the question is are any of the OT's that might still be there in round 2 going to be able to win the starting job in TC? If you answer yes, then waiting seems fair. Of course I pretty firmly believe in taking BPA in round 1. I think no matter who they choose, the player absolutely needs to be a starter day one in their view. No projects, no rehabbing players, no reaches.......

Pleaded with will go further. I will say right now, I would lean offense. We HAVE to go get Herbert help. Yes, I said HAVE to. Not maybe, or mealy mouth what-about-this-or-that BS. HAVE to.

If there is another DJ/Bosa caliber player on the board @ pick 13, take him. Otherwise, I am down with the bolded; look for an OT or WR, maybe a TE or G/C.

In my value order it would be OT, WR, Center tied with TE, Guard. IF all things were equal. If Pipkins is on the board but so is Antonio Gates, you want to draft the TE. Guards just don't get any love. You'll see that one or so hot Guard get drafted, then the rest fall like rocks.

In the end, the Bolts' roster is in serious need to two starting caliber OT's. I still remember your love for Tua over Herbert, as do most everyone else on here. Herbert rejects your attempt at being his fan.

Staley is going to have to get the most out of what he currently has as starters for the defence, as picks 1 through 3 best be going to fix the OL. Give me two OT's and an OC.....I will look to free agency for OG's. Keep HH and MW.......

That Ingram is really throwing a wrench in things. Bosa needs a bookend, and it sure as hell isn't Nwosu.
