"It is amazing what can be accomplished if no one cares who gets the credit." JOHN WOODENI cannot help but think of Charger fan forums when I see this quote...everyone claiming to be the smartest. We have all been through a lot. We have all been hyperbolic and COVID insane, while going through the ebbs and flows of this season. Do you honestly believe Spanos will fire AL after this 7-9 season we just experienced ? If your answer is yes, I question your judgement. I for one seek less blowhardism moving forward, from myself and others. JMO. It's not that I can't "believe" Spanos will not fire Lynn (it's possible), it's just that I question how you can keep him after watching the string of decision-making blunders that had the whole football world literally laughing at the franchise. Yes, there was some bad luck, ill-timed injuries and the like that contributed to some of the losses, but I come back to the bad decisions for the second season in a row and this look in the owner's box a month ago that leads me to believe that they will cut bait with Lynn tomorrow. You just spelled out your own fate. Coupled with 7-9.

The bigger news will probably be delivered 24 hours or so after the game is played, but here's to the Bolts putting a whooping on a Chefs squad that will just be getting ready for the divisional round as the only AFC squad with a bye in its pocket. Looking for good performances from the young'ens and those who are looking for a roster spot when (hopefully) the new regime takes over. In the words of Arnold: "Go Chargers, Go!!" Question to the general public: am I at bat for starting the OGDT for the WFT? I believe that I ended up with a four game winning streak for the 2020 season. It’s the villagers’ choice: the emperor has no say in the matter. 😉 |
