That is correct sir, it is exactly because I have no faith that I make these predictions. Sometimes they get it right, but we all know when it comes to the Superbowl, they always get it wrong. I watched the one & only time they went and it was a complete beat down. The Chargers are just one of those teams that compete, but never have what it takes to make that last step into stardom. I don't claim to be Nostradamus, who by the way made thousands of predictions where only a few could be "interpreted" as coming true. So in a way, I kinda am like him, only no interpretation required. Would you agree with me that anything less than making the Superbowl next year is just unacceptable? This team needs to win now and should be able to win now. After 40+ years of being a fan, the excuses are worn out. This is a message board where I hope all view points are welcomed, that's what keeps everyone coming back. I'm never going to tow the company line, I will speak as I feel. If that's not acceptable here, I am sure the moderators will make that clear. At this point, I think you're pessimism is a good luck charm of sorts...keep it up! For fans it's a continuum...but this is literally a new team. So whatever happens, happens.

I have no malice for our beloved Chargers or it's fans, only the ownership that continues to fail. I speak truths brother, not deceit. When NYboltfan1 said that the the Chargers would fall against the Patriots, it is purely out of time tested reality. Once they beat the Chargers I knew they would win the Superbowl. In fact, after the the demise of the Chargers this year against the Patriots, I offered comfort to my fellow comrades. I explained that the Patriots do this to most everyone this time of year. I would be happy to relegate my future comments to a "Hate Tank" (copyright 2019 NYboltfan1 productions, Ltd) but I'm afraid with no challenging thoughts, the gameday thread turns into a unicorn dance party, where everyone wins a trophy. But I leave those decisions to the people way above my pay grade. I'm going to have to go ahead and call bull. You also predicted we would lose to the Ravens. You also predicted we'd miss the playoffs. You also predicted we'd lose pretty much every chance you got... So to suddenly act like Nostradamus when the broken clock is right, well it's disingenuous. Much love, but you simply always predict doom and gloom. I'll also call bull, but for another reason. The idea that it is somehow altruistic to contaminate game day threads with incessant negativity is a joke. "I'm afraid with no challenging thoughts, the gameday thread turns into a unicorn dance party. . . ." Bull. That has NEVER happened. There is always plenty of pessimism in the OGDTs.
