Freak can be neither stopped nor contained. Much less kept in check. Nice try. Some people just GET IT ^^^

well you know where we are. Besides Freak needs more wise asses to keep him in check, and Boltnut can use someone to match wits with on the draft/drafted players. Didn't you get into discussions about the draft with Rmancil on the CMB? Yeah I used to scout a bit. I have an eye for oline and rb. Of course i also called Herbert the next tribisky so.... Hahahahha thank gosh you were wrong!! At lease you can admit it lol

At lease you can admit it lol I don’t think amateurs can scout QBs. Not to make excuses for myself, but there’s just too much that goes into it. Watch all the film you want, you don’t know what he saw. It’s just guess work.

Same for scouting goalies, as all have the basic movement skills more or less, but the position is so heavily influenced by the ability to read the developing play. Really difficult to judge what was being seen.....

I wasn’t on here last year when the herbert controversy was in full tilt pre and post draft but I happened to be a one of those people that thought he looked amazing from throws he made on tape, he also had tons of drops in college because his teammates at orgeon couldn’t handle the heat. Plus the offense he ran there was junk. And of course the measurables and the intelligence were impressive. But I didn’t think he was a can’t miss guy, I just thought he was a fantastic prospect. So here’s the kicker tho, I thought the same things about ryan leaf back in 98’ so I just happened to be on the right side of things this time.

It was Freak against the world. The world lost of course. You were all about Tua......were you not? Not me, I generally don’t trust players from alabama, but in tua’s case I just thought his injury was so incredibly catastrophic, I honestly still have reservations about him playing in the NFL. That feeling we all had when alex smith came back, that fear that something awful was about to happen to his reconstructed leg? I have that same feeling every time I see tua play. They had to remove shards of his own pelvic bone from his rectum for pete’s sake! He still has bone splinters traveling around in his insides causing damage. If he has that happen again it could be life threatening especially with all the possibilities of infection and everything else. Who am I to tell tua not to go out and make money to help his family, but honestly, I cringe when I see him on the field, I don’t want the kid to be handicapped for the rest of his life. Right now he can still walk and live normally but can you imagine the arthritis issues he’s going to have by the time he’s my age?! Football aside he can still have a long fruitful life doing something else like coaching.

I went back and read some of the old posts and simmons was the defensive savior that was going to fix gus bradley’s scheme, LOL simmons didn’t make the impact most thought he would, I wonder if that hurt JOK’s stock in the draft this year?

Not everyone. I destroyed him. I said no way you draft a hybrid LB with the 6th overall pick. No value at that level at all.

There’s one I haven’t been proven wrong on yet. Simmons never did it for me.
