I don't think it's fair to say whether Bradwell can/can't catch. I don't think it's fair to say whether Kelly can/can't run. They haven't been given the opportunity to prove one way or the other. I'm waiting for a larger sample size before I make a judgement. The only things we know for sure... we were lucky to get AE as an UDFA... Justin Jackson can't stay healthy... our OL sucked last year. Everything else is unknown and only a guess. We ain't waiting on losing yards and games just to satisfy your "sample size". They ride the bench until we say so. We already know what we have.

Absolutely! AE is the starter... and we pray he stays healthy all season. We also recognize that Lombardi's offense is pass-centric. But there is absolutely nothing that says that we can't invest in depth (cheaply) in recognition of what we do/don't know. #1. AE has been injured before. #2. AE has never had more than 132 rushing attempts in a season. He's at 67 attempts through 5 games in 2021. Assuming that he plays in at least 20 games (2 playoff wins, hopefully)... he'll be asked to carry the ball 268 times this season. #3. We have absolutely no idea what Kelly/Roundtree/Bradwell can do. #4. Justin Jackson is always hurt. #5 Justin Jackson can be replaced by using 1 of the 3 sixth round (2022) picks we own... if used in the next 2 weeks. May I suggest Alex Collins...

The chargers should be familiar with collins, isn’t he the back that shredded our backups in the preseason? Are the Seahawks trying to move him?

I’m still bummed we didn’t tender kellen ballage, he was the most effective runner we had in the backfield when ekeler went down last year. Imagine what he’d be doing behind this new line…

Hasn't played a lot. He'll be a free agent at the end of the year. Now that Russell Wilson is hurt, Seahawks should be on a downward spiral, out of a playoff spot, and sellers at the trade deadline.

I wish TT was better at the trade game (outside the draft)... He's like 40 year old virgin when it comes to making a needed trade.

The more Staley wins, the higher the pressure will turn up on Telesco. Staley is building credibility by the minute and the ‘business as usual approach’ is just not going to be acceptable. Staley wants to win now, the fans want the team to win now, and the chargers need to establish themselves in LA etc… Telesco is going to have to become more ‘open’ to doing things in ways he’s not been comfortable doing in the past, I think he’s a smart guy so I think he’ll adapt.

This is right up there with your "Sean McVey traded for Stafford because he's scared of Justin Herbert" on the critical analysis scale. If I had a dollar for every time someone lamented a great coach being held back by the GM that hired them I would have zero dollars.

I had that zach ertz trade in mind when I posted that, the cardinals are 5-0 but they traded a backup corner and a sixth rounder for zach ertz. The eagles like a few other teams are in rebuild mode and the cardinals took advantage to improve their superbowl odds this year. No where in my post does it say Staley is being held back by TT. But TT doesn’t have a track record of making trades to improve the team for a playoff run. All I said is that might be the case this year and then I said he’s smart enough to recognize things are different now and to do something about it.

Linebacker. But I'm not holding my breath.
