Were we looking ahead to the bye week and slept on the Ravens? Doubtful. The Ravens played a good game and the Chargers didn’t. They have a balanced team and we don’t.

They got our QB seeing some ghosts, and our D Coordinator didn't watch the last game we played these guys. Remember Gus had us go all speed in the backfield with no linebackers and the ravens had no answer.
We will be better for this loss after the bye. We will need to thank belicheat for getting our head coach fired with a big west coast L for the pats.

Freak question time !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have enjoyed super good catching the football. That all went to hell on Sunday. Which are we ? Crazy good at catching; or the reality of fail on Sunday ?

Do you thank him by beating him or losing again? Because winning doesn’t seem like thanks, and I’m genuinely thankful Lynn is gone.

It's a personnel problem. We were 3 deep playing Okismokeabong, then he got hurt. Dear Mojo how far can we go in depth. We need to add a couple of run stopping tackling fools to the mix. Trade now, or double dip in the offseason.

We have enjoyed super good catching the football. That all went to hell on Sunday. Which are we ? Crazy good at catching; or the reality of fail on Sunday ? Both. The offense didn’t execute well—not a single piece, QB, WR, OL, TE, RB. They can obviously play better than that. But this team is missing a right-side OL, a running game, a run D, a kicker, and special teams. Yesterday they didn’t play up to their potential, but the Chargers are not as good as Baltimore—and there is no trade or bye week adjustment that will correct for that much lack of talent and depth.

The defense got manhandled for the second week in a row. Last week they fought through, this week they could not put up a fight. The bolts special teams could not kick return past the 25 yard line and could not stop the Raven returns. There were four to five missed catches that would have converted first downs. I give credit to the Ravens for messing up the route timing and physicality. Herbert was also affected by rushed throws or throwing lane obstructed.

We have enjoyed super good catching the football. That all went to hell on Sunday. Which are we ? Crazy good at catching; or the reality of fail on Sunday ? We’re talented at catching the ball. But we weren’t physical enough at any single position on the field including WR and TE. Cook let a guy steal the ball from his hands. They weren’t strong against the Baltimore DBs. We got worked in the trenches on both sides of the ball. That OL overhaul didn’t hold up as much as the DL neglect showed out. Just putrid all around. I would say flush it but this turd will stop up the toilet. That’s how large it was

Is the Ravens dropseys just a one time thingy ?

I think it’s possible that the Chargers are the best or second best team in the AFC West, and that they make the playoffs this year. But I’m not seeing a team that can go to the SB.

We have guys who are proven receivers and can catch so no we didn’t get exposed in that area. Far more troubling are the trenches issues where we’ve been exposed every single game.

I wondered how RBs could run through a packed crowd that was roughly half Chargers and no one got a hand on them.
Herbert had a bad day. The QB / receiver thing wasn't crisp at all and it was not all the other guy.
Akiem Hicks would be a good addition.
I'm ready to kick the Bal loss to the curb. Two weeks to get ready for the team that beat us 45 - 0 last year. We had better be ready to repay them.
