I am officially a Grandpa.
My daughter gave birth yesterday to a little girl.
Will not be able to see her until Tuesday next week. Can't wait.

I am officially a Grandpa. My daughter gave birth yesterday to a little girl. Will not be able to see her until Tuesday next week. Can't wait. Congratulations! You'll enjoy the grandpa roll (at least until they become teenagers). I recently became a Great Grandpa (2nd time). It's one of the better things about growing old.

Jimmy Hoffa back in the news.
He was buried in a NY dump and might have been moved when an informant told the FBI he was there. They didn't say where they think that is.
A gut named Frank Coppola says his father (former associate of Hoffa) buried Hoffa in the dump. His dump. He owned it. The dumped him head first into a 55 gallon drum. They had to put him in head first because they could get his legs to bend enough to stuff him in. he was shot by a guy named Sapa Guglio. He was killed in Detroit, loaded into the drum and taken to the dump.

RE: Jimmy Hoffa, The book "I heard You Paint Houses" claims that Hoffa was murdered by his friend Frank Sheeran on orders from boss Buffalino, rolled in a carpet and then cremated at a mob-connected funeral home. Anyway I found this account to be very believable.
The book (one of the few I've read twice) which I highly recommend is the basis for the upcoming Martin Scorsese movie "The Irishman". The movie seems to be miscast.

I liked the romantic version of him buried under a goal post at Giants Stadium.
