Bolts should be 6-3 after Sunday. I think they figured out how to ways to minimize the weakness enough to allow the O to light it up, which it can. The Chargers O is a scoring machine when its going. Vikings D isn't going to be able to stop it. Too many good weapons.

They're saying the Vikings and Zimmer are in the same position we are from last year, 1 score losses with a coach on the hot seat.

A few Charger tidbits from the CBS Pick Six email-
In the "Power Rankings" segment: The biggest jump this week went to the Chargers, who moved up six spots. Apparently, Prisco was highly impressed with the fact that the Chargers almost lost to a bad Eagles team, because he moved them up from 15th to ninth following the victory. (for the record, I couldn't care less about arbitrary power rankings! But the comment about the close win over a bad team shows what they think of the Chargers.)
In the "Picks of the Week " segment- Minnesota (+2.5) at L.A. Chargers: The Chargers are giving up the most rushing yards per game in the NFL this year and it's not even close. I mean, it's over 160 yards per game and no one else is even giving up 140. If the Vikings are smart, they won't throw a single pass, they'll just keep giving the ball to Dalvin Cook until he tells them he doesn't want it anymore, which I don't think is going to happen. I think Cook is going to go wild in a game that ends with the Vikings pulling off the upset. PICK: Vikings 27-24 over Chargers. (No one here can disagree with the run all day on the Chargers strategy. It's concerning to me, but I still think we strike fast on offense and outscore the Vikings this week.)
In the "One thing we learned about each team in Week 9" segment- Chargers: Their defense is turning into a major concern. "Not because Jalen Hurts and the Eagles lit them up Sunday, but because Philly ran pretty much at will. Last three weeks: A 34-6 loss to Baltimore, a 27-24 loss to Mac Jones and the Patriots, a 27-24 win over the rebuilding Eagles." (which speaks to the point above, our defense has not been good and the run defense is the worst. I can see the Vikings controlling the clock and running down our throat, but I think we do enough on offense to edge them at the end. Or even better would be to get out to fast start and score a few touchdowns to take them out of the run heavy game plan against us.)

Boy, we’re not just a bad run defense we’re 20 yards per game worse than the next worst?

👀 <<Note: At a minimum Kirk Cousins is unvaccinated (he didn’t lie about it)>> My second thought was "I hope all of these players are OK" My first thought was "This could be good for the Chargers this week!" Does that make me a bad person or just a homer?

👀 <<Note: At a minimum Kirk Cousins is unvaccinated (he didn’t lie about it)>> Wishing that the infected Vikes return to health after missing the Min @ LAC game and being happy for the Chargers improved odds are compatible with being a good person. My second thought was "I hope all of these players are OK" My first thought was "This could be good for the Chargers this week!" Does that make me a bad person or just a homer?

Does that make me a bad person or just a homer? Not a bad person at all. Apparently the hospitalized player has pneumonia. I know the feeling as I had a “mild” case of it that I caught in the drop-dead humid Nebraska summer when I was 11 years old. I have been susceptible to lung infections ever since.

Does that make me a bad person or just a homer? I had similar thoughts so I guess I am a bad homer too. Perhaps the SoCal sunshine and playing outdoors will help the Vikes who do travel with the team.

I am not worried, we don't need to stop him every time, just once or twice. Our offense will score at will on the vikings.

So far they have been going more than not. lets hope that trend continues.
