A new mock I am kicking around......just doesn't feel right though. 28th Tillery DT 60th Lamar ILB 91st Ridley WR 130th Prince OT 166th Deiter OT 200th Tell S 242nd Froholdt OG The second OT, Deiter, can kick inside to OG when the need arrives. Froholdt is a gamble pick, might turn into really good OL, might get cut. What is it about this mock that you guys see is really off ? I like Deiter. Tillery. Does he live the game ? Lamar. 4.99 forty at Clemson ProDay.OUCH. Maybe too much Oline ? It seems that whoever is slotted to us in a given round,has a negative or two. Tillery could easily be the pick. PON. We need some inside help bad to go with Ingram/Bosa. Using PHI & CLE as examples, teams are loading up on weapons across the board. Two good TEs. 3 WRs, RBs who can catch and run routes. We have got to have an effective pass rush to deal with that. And look out for OAK too. |

I don't have a mock draft but I do have a few favorites that I think could be there at 28 (see cluster in my signature). I really like Nasir Adderley, S, Delaware. He's a solid tackler, has great instincts, and he can catch like a WR. The OL does need help badly.....current issue is OG and ROT, but don't kid yourself, LOT is on the near horizon, with OC on the far horizon. The question is how to address these shortcomings, and when to address them if using the draft. Picking 28th, the OT's that I think will be available, might be around still at the 60th pick. The OG's, such as Risner or Ford appear to be upper half of 2nd rd, so I am not passing on much better talent at 28th to elevate a lesser talent to address the need. At 28th the favorite is DT, a definite PON, and a good chance BPA as well......especially if Wilkins falls to 28th (I think he does), but Lawrence, or Tillery might be what TT likes. If TT goes off of a strict BPA in his first pick, it could be TE, WR, CB, ILB.......I don't see OL at all. So Freak, yes they suck, but no, I am not compounding that problem by reaching to solve it.
