The Los Angeles Chargers today signed cornerback Davontae Harris to the active roster from San Francisco's practice squad. Originally a fifth-round selection by Cincinnati in the 2018 NFL Draft, Harris has played in 31 games and made eight starts with the Bengals, Broncos, Ravens and 49ers. The Illinois State product recorded 43 tackles (37 solo), four passes defensed and a forced fumble while adding seven special teams tackles. Harris saw the most extensive action of his career with the Broncos in 2019, when he appeared in all 16 games and made six starts, posting 32 tackles (27 solo) and three pass breakups. The script for beating the Chargers has been written, submitted, tested and approved. Not that hard really. We have no running game to worry about so just bring the heat on Herbert. Hold the ball on offense which should be easy with Joe Mixon and anybody covered by Tevaughn Campbell. Yes sir.....and this is actually my concern about Staley. He seems stuck, lacking any creativity, on either side of the ball. Yes, Staley has the nerve to 'go for it' on fourth down, but the problem is needing to do that regularly. The question is: Talent or Coaching......I suspect talent more than coaching. The worry is it is coaching more than talent. When Denver had 3rd and goal from the 9 and run it in for a TD that was coaching. They were in the lightest of boxes on the LOS and had no LBs in the middle of the field. It was wide open. That was just a bad look

Is that not allowed anymore ? Can season 1 finish first ?

Cincy is a much more productive offense and similarly very good D compared to the team that just dominated us. Get your shit together Coach! This will not be a walk in the park.

Strong words coming from Jim. The villagers are not happy. Bounce back week versus the kittens is just what the doctor ordered.

Disingenuous to say the least, as there simply is not that much turn over in starters, and 'his guys' or not isn't the point. Staley was hired after he sold the 'I maximize the specific talents of each of my players, molding it into a synergy that creates winning' or some such yappy yappy........ Staley doesn't look like he is being very creative, in fact it looks pretty standard stuff......and standard appears to be easily defeated.

Shut down Joe Mixon and pressure Brriw. We won’t have Linval but get fresh rotation of the UDFA’s and let em do what they did to Najee. Bengals OL isn’t great and bring Murray to get pressure.
On offense, this needs to be JJ’s signature game of 2021. Ekeler is tired and we need a #2. Herbert your ROY award is on the line Sunday. Show the country that it wasn’t just a Burrow knee injury that cleared the path. Wr and te’s catch the damn ball. Spread it around to Parham and Stephen A.
We can do this
