I just returned from my father's interment at Arlington National Cemetery this past Wednesday, so that combined with one of the most disappointing performances by the Bolts over the past decade has led to my absence on the board the past six days. Last week's debacle has placed today's game against the Bengals into the must win category if we want to have a realistic chance of meaningful playoff participation this season.
Feiler's absence last week was an eye-opening reminder as to how thin the Chargers oline is at this point of the season. We all have complained about Storm Norton's performance at right tackle all season long (and rightfully so), but last week's left guard performance by Kelemete was a shot to the heart. We can get by with the right side replacements, but only if we have a dominant left side of the oline cranking it out with Linsley, Feiler & Slater lining it up together.
The season is on the line in Cincy tomorrow! Go Chargers, Go!!!
