Glad we did not allow this to be a trap game before KC Thursday.
On thing I was surprised with was how soft Barkley plays. Granted I have not seen much of him over the years but it seemed like he went down a lot as soon as he was touched by a defender. I saw a lot of solo tackles made on him for loss or no gain without any tackles being broken for extra yards after contact.

ST with a choke. Can't have a perfect game... That onside kick pissed me off. Come-on, with today's NFL rules, how do any onside kicks succeed?

I decided to take a restroom break at the two minute warning before driving home figuring that at worst the Chargers would be kneeling down & running out the clock. Instead, the Giants had a TD on the board and had the ball. I’m so damned glad I missed the onside kick!! |

Thoroughly enjoyable game today. Stadium wasn’t full as Giants fans didn’t turn out in big numbers to watch their 4-9 team. Was actually a good experience at SoFi for a change.
not looking at the stats but was encouraged by how we ran the ball in the first half. I think JJ is RB #2 and starting g to earn it back.
palmer looked good when he got the ball. Solid performance.
the bomb to Guyton right before half was something special. Only a few people on the planet can make the throw Herbert made. Guyton finished and it was a nice boost.
defense looked good today. Vato was all over whomever he covered. Chris Harris even looked good. Didn’t see much of the pass rushing schemes we saw last week but didn’t really need them. Glennon is not good.
the garbage time TDs shouldn’t take away from that.
lastly, K9 got beat on the Giants first TD and I can see why he’s not getting playing time. Was slow to pick up the back out of the backfield.
overall, I’m encouraged going into Thursday night. This is a much better chiefs team than we faced earlier. Hopefully we are better as well. Gonna be a great game

I keep saying only a few humans on the entire planet can make that throw. Was so special and the people there appreciated it. The cheers after that TD just sounded different |

Indeed! We'd have to ask the NFL. Seems the NFL will want a Bucs vs. Pats Superbowl, bank on that. The road to the Superbowl for us will likely go through KC, the refs, and then NE... Do we have the cahonies?

Man does it feel good to put a team away with some room. Like coach said, they had 3.5 solid quarters in all phases. If we had a run O and run D we’d be hard to beat.
