I'm solid on RB in the 3rd now... 1st is still RT and Penning, but EDGE or CB would be fine too.
If we go anything other than OT in the 1st, I still like Max Mitchell in the 4th...

I'm putting EDGE on my possible for first round. George Karlaftis Purdue if he's still there at 17. Karlaftis is my dark horse for this year's pick. Earlier, he was gone well before our pick in mock drafts; now others have had hype that may push him down, and if he's there he's quite a player! Other draft thoughts at this time: - Jordan Davis was the player most often mocked to us, but do we need a DT now? I love him as a player, but we signed two DTs this offseason so would we spend a #1 on a rotational piece, even such a BIG piece?
- Jameson Williams, the speedy WR from Alabama with the torn ACL, has also been mocked frequently to us. I'm not so sure he's BPA (at PON) after 16 picks. Nothing against him, but I'm not as pessimistic at our WRs as some.
- CB Trent MacDuffie is another popular prediction for us, and I wouldn't him- seems like a scrapper!- or even an other top CB if one fell. I think CB is one of our biggest needs still (but don't reach for someone!)
- I haven't seen any mocks with a LB predicted at 17, but like the above, if one of the top two guys fell this is another big position of need. (I'm sorry that Michigan LB got hurt- sadness!)
- Right Tackle may be our biggest need at the moment, and there seems to be a few players worthy of the 17th pick, however I would much prefer to get an experienced veteran RT if we could still.
Positions we may be taking at 17: DL, Edge, LB, CB, WR, RT .... I think it comes down to what player is BPA at one of these positions after the first 16 players are taken. (Too bad it's a weak QB year!)
I think most teams ahead of us will ALSO be taking players from this same position list, with a Safety or QB thrown in. So our choice may be the second or third player selected at his position. Which has kinda worked out for us the last two years!
