If Perryman can stay healthy we'll have a pretty solid group of LB's. We absolutely must get a DT that can keep our LBs clean. They aren't meant to take on blockers, and they will keep getting maimed if they are asked to. Keep them clean and let them use their speed and quickness. Mebane is nice, but we need more. It looks like we'll need to get a DT from the draft. The best DT prospects from free agency have signed elsewhere. Same for Safety.

Jones is good, may be very good but let's stack the deck anyway. The middle of the DL impacts everbody's game for better or worse.

Jones did look like a tank at times, but we're gonna need to get better if we're going to take on that power running game that smashed us last year. Bring in the beef baby.

He's a really good pick up that can only bolster our shaky LB group. Hope the whole group stays healthy this season. If Perryman can stay healthy we'll have a pretty solid group of LB's. That's a pretty big "if"

If Perryman can stay healthy we'll have a pretty solid group of LB's. That's a pretty big "if" Davis, Perryman, Brown, White, Nwosu are a bigger pool. Let's add another good prospect. Then if only half are able to suit up we can still field 3 decent LBs.

Good article about Davis at NFL.com
"I just feel like I can come in and be an added piece, offer some veteran wisdom, veteran leadership and just really try to get these guys over the hump," he said, "so I'm looking forward to being a part of this locker room."

Situational packages could get interesting. I'm thinking a mid-late rd MLB/SLB draft currently. Either that or resign Emanuel.

I'd rather let Emanuel go and look for a SAM linebacker who can not only set the edge, which Emanuel does fairly well most of the time, but also can COVER, which is Emanuel's biggest liability. Time to cut loose the weak links in the chain and upgrade, folks.

You got it Jim. They drafted Nwosu to take over for Emanuel. No n4eed to draft another player for that position this year.
