I still can’t believe Corey Linsley allowed nothing last year as far as anything. Pumped Telesco really is getting some props right IMO

Staley was in Chicago when the grade happened!!!! That’s why it happened so fast on the low key for cheap he was there had tom on the phone and sealed it
Okay, I forgive him now
Btw in the off-season When we went for it 4th and 18 in our own yard line in like the first quarter or whatever , Staley said that he didn’t punt it because a punt was blocked previously and he had low faith in our putting unit.
Watch for us to make a move in that kicker i started we a thread about!

I just thought about this but, Tom Telesco is a vet Gm at this point. The dude in Chicago is new green vanilla GM and he probably took hella advantage of that ahahahahs everyone I’ve talked to everyone said WTF other teams: I would’ve paid more! What a great opportunity for me to continue to teach on here. ONCE AGAIN as I have always told you........... .GM's don't trade players, they trade contracts. I believe the Bears are in a rebuild. So you dump that big contract, and get draft picks. The Chargers have to pay on his big contract, that is "punishment" enough, so the Bears took a second rounder (sixth later). Goes on all the time. The exception is good QB's. GM's go nut for good QB's, so Seattle reaped the harvest of players and picks.

Certainly one GM is trading a contract, while the other is trading for talent.....hence, it was a good trade for both, eh

"Is Mack going to put us in the Superbowl ? No. Then dump his big contract and let's get younger and cheaper there."

" Is Mack going to put us in the Superbowl ? No. Then dump his big contract and let's get younger and cheaper there." It seems that this philosophy is acceptable with a descending roster, yet is not with an ascending roster. The Chargers have cap to use because TT refrained from signing every player that the group on here chanted for......and yes having QB and LOT on ELC's helps, but bad signings would eat that advantage up far too quickly. A couple more solid FA additions, then draft well, and this starting roster begins to look capable of a deep run.

There is a formula out there to win a Superbowl and our landlords just did it.
We are very lucky to have our LT and QB on their rookie deals but if we want to win we need to sign some game changers in FA and hope for the best. The draft well part of your plan hasn't worked out in providing us solid depth and key positions let alone starters. JH and RS fell into our laps. I have been watching this team for 40+ years and want a championship before I die.

The particular formula worked this time for the Rams, but there have been many failing attempts that are not being recognized or acknowledged. Free Agency signing is a path littered with mistakes, but a path that must be taken if wanting a Super Bowl visit. TT will need to take chances, but the Linsley signing was solid, so hopeful about more FA's..... Drafting is the key to sustained appearances in the PO's......and the drafting has not been good, with the resulting lack of PO's as a clear testament. Drafting is simply the biggest failure of the TT era.......

The particular formula worked this time for the Rams, but there have been many failing attempts that are not being recognized or acknowledged. It worked for Tampa Bay the year before too. The league changes. Gotta keep up with the times. Stop looking for Pipkins to take off in the draft we will get left behind. Free Agency signing is a path littered with mistakes, but a path that must be taken if wanting a Super Bowl visit. Herbert, Allen, Williams, Ekeler, Linsley, Slater, James, Bosa, MACK, etc. Yeah, that kind of core. See above ^^^

The Bengals bought their defense too. If it moves buy it. If it's still pay half price.

The Bengals bought their defense too. Has there ever been a Super Bowl club that didn't buy (Free Agent) some of their players. Of course talking since FA came about, and no don't go look.....more of a rhetorical question.
