Poopers article….,I’m just nikpicking…..you shouldn’t draft for depth in that spot. RB2 is what I would have done there. RT take a chance for competition with mighty Pipkins. He just admitted they drafted to ride the bench. The team knows better to me. At least he looks athletic and a ballhawk, so those are upsides. I think they drafted more for scheme, as opposed to your 'depth' view. The question would be how often are they in a defence scheme that would find Woods on the field? We all have read the positives and negatives, but in a division such as the AFCW, having a player that loves the interception might be wise. Time will tell if the Staley vision is awesome, or less than......

For the record I think Woods could be more impactful than Dean... I was lowkey hoping Hamilton would fall in the first.

If Woods is on the field for 51% of the defence plays.....according to your beliefs, the Chargers would be playing their depth player more than the starter. Let us wait and see how much he plays, or does not play....

I've never heard of this kid, which is no knock on him- I'm not a college football fanatic or even a draftnik. As the 123rd selection, I'm not so sure he was the best available player, or even defensive player, or even secondary player or even just the best safety on the board. But I watched this video of him being interviewed/introduced to the Chargers press, and I must say he is very likable, and he seems honest, respectful and intelligent. Glad to have him on the team! link

I believe that I read that the Bolts play 5 and 6 DB’s on more than 50% of defensive plays. Woods will see the field a lot in 2022.
