We got a lot better at RB yesterday and it we didn’t give anything up to do it. Michel played 49% of the Rams offensive snaps last season. He’s immediately approved. Taking Natrone Means jersey seals it. Would love to see Ekeler split to the outside with Michel in the backfield ...................... Michel runs with a physical style that complements Ekeler’s shiftiness. Feels like the team is complete heading into game 1 It’s why I wanted Kenneth Walker from MSU

Taking Natrone Means jersey seals it. The Chargers' RB room got better because of ? Did the Rams release a really good RB because their RB room is so talented? Or is Michel less than at this point? Or..... Are the Chargers simply that lacking in talent at the RB position? I like the pick up, but being cautious about the impact.

Kelley had the best pre season of the contenders but he’s not proven capable in year’s past (given that he’s improved). Michel is a proven commodity. Probably has a chip on his shoulder. I guess the Rams liked their younger guys better. And Michel doesn’t really fit the SF style RB that Miami’s coach probably wants to use.

You might have said, "Michel might be a super addition for <the running back room> to learn from......" Sony for Rountree was a easy switch based on recent production alone. But, Staley is bring in superbowl experience to change the team's mindset. Good move even if his production drops off.

Blake Martinez? I wouldn’t mind a little more veteran experience at ILB.

I hope I’m wrong about Michel but there clearly is a reason why he is on his 4th team in a year. Think about that for a moment.

He is def better than Rountree and Kelley, that's all I care about. "When" we get into the playoffs I'd like Ekeler to be as fresh as possible, a good number 2 can help with that throughout the season. Even Spiller at 3.

He has an extensive injury history but does NFL RB things very well when healthy. He seems healthy. 1 yr roll of the dice.
