He’s coached before. This is a helluva first week match up. Schedule makers saw that last game and said damn let’s keep it going. Statement game for us. Are we really that much better this season. Raiders are improved as well. We really need JC for this one. If the front can get pressure on Carr, the Chargers can slip by without JC..... Is the defence improved.... .can they stop the run game? First two games are big statement games! They'll pound the rock 'till we prove we can stop it. Why use artillery on a bunch of daisies?

They'll pound the rock 'till we prove we can stop it. Why use artillery on a bunch of daisies? I can think of 3 reasons. Adams, Renfrow, and Waller. Josh McDaniels would be another. Carr will be throwing this game. Waller will get a big contract, Adams was huge. They aren't just leaving those guys on the field.

Their Oline and Secondary are complete weaknesses.

I am so jacked up for this season.
We all saw what held us back last season and the team has actually addressed most if not all of those issues.
This defense should be vastly improved and the offense made some changes to some of our weak spots.
Raiders are all bluster about Devonte Adams, but I bet you the they and the rest of then NFL are a bit scared of what this team can be.
We will see how it all shakes out for the rest of this year but so far this looks like a masterclass in off season management.

Knock Carr on his ass and he gets raddled, just ask Bosa. Definitely a winnable game. 27 -17 Chargers win

I am just messing with Freak...... The reality is most everyone that pays attention to off season moves strongly believes TT and staff had a great off season. With that belief, I find it difficult to see TT terminated if the club goes 8-9 for the year, and misses the post season again. TT did his job......
